Awesome, this was our favorite Steven Seagal movie growing up. Watching dreadlocks flying everywhere made us laugh our asses off😂

Seagal at his best. First appearance of the ponytail. Not as skinny as Above the Law but before he started pudging up in Under Siege. Actually struggles in a boss fight. No female tag along character. And Keith David. Perfection.

I agree 1000% big bro. The first 6 to 7 Steven Seagal movies were fire and still are. "Marked For Death" is in my 15 action movies of all time. One of the best lines I've ever heard was from "Screwface: If a man commit a crime against you....he must be paid back..... A THOUSAND TIMES!!!" That's some great acting right there. 🔥🏆

I was 10 and watched this with my sister's boyfriend and almost got in a lot of trouble for it. Seagal after "Hard to Kill" in the same year, it was go time with this one. Loved the story and how it unfolded from beginning to end. I was more riveted by how many ways Seagal could take out anybody. Totally creative and just effective enough to sell it. Basil Wallace as Screwface was no joke and his 'immortal' secret near the end, big surprise. The soundtrack was on 'Delicious Vinyl records with all kinds of heat. Hip hop and reggae, the great Jimmy Cliff on multiple tracks was all good. MFD director Dwight H. Little made some other classics. Rapid Fire with Brandon Lee (1992), Murder At 1600 with Wesley Snipes (1997) and the live-action adaptation of TEKKEN (2010).

Steven had action movies on lock from the late 80's to early 2000's ,with Exit Wounds being the last viewable movie he did. Keith David being in this makes this even better.

Everything Seagal through Under Siege was good. I'm not sure if it was his ego or Hollywood rejecting action stars past that point, but his movies just never seemed to reach that level again after. Van Damme peaked and sort of disappeared as well, but while JCVD had a resurgence with the movie JCVD, Seagal had moved to Russia by the time action movies returned so he was never going to have a chance at a comeback to major films.

"Well?" "One thought he was invincible... the other thought he could fly." "So?" "They were both wrong." Fun Fact: The film uses real photos of Steven Seagal as a kid. Location Location Fact: Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles was shut off on multiple Sundays in order to shoot the road chase. Gun Enthusiast Fact: The antique gun used in the film is called a The Protector Palm Pistol. It was unique in that the revolver was clasped in a fist with the barrel protruding between two fingers and the entire handgun was squeezed in order to fire a round. The design was meant to resemble a pocket watch to the extent of being carried on a chain. Action Star Fact: Reason why Seagal gets hit several times during final fight in this film, while he barely gets hit at all in his other ones, is because unlike Warner Bros who produced and released Seagal's earlier films, 20 Century Fox didn't put up with his usual demands, such as him not wanting his character to get hit at all during film and to always have upper hand on others, so they ordered for the final scene to show him get hit while fighting.

The secret is that he has two heads. Love these Seagal flicks. The next several anyways. Down the way they get ultra-violent. Face smash into the table 7 times instead of one. 2 or 3 serial killers running around killing people and Seagal chasing. Keep on the path man it's just some good action flicks.
