Yeah exactly. He can only do that on his second channel. And as you know, this is his second channel, where he likes to get a little wacky and a bit crazy, and drink La Croix.
As a recovered addict, I'm not at all offended. This was really cute and funny and honestly pretty good for a bunch of kids growing up in the early 2000s. Plus.. addiction is kind of like a homicidal anthropomorphic tiger wielding a hammer and screaming JUST ONE MORE at you 🤷🏻♀️
Also lol like *right* after I made this post, maybe like a month later, I relapsed and started doing fent for a few weeks, overdosed, and was VERY lucky to have Narcan in the house (and a Husband who knew how to administer it!). I made Him promise not to take me to the hospital (didn't wanna get hospitalized- ended up getting hospitalized twice last year, anyways, and then ended up in a long term facility). So we stayed home and He watched me. So. On the road to recovery again, fiening hard, trying to keep my brain off drugs 🤙🏻 It's that goddamn tiger and his "just one more"
The girl looks older so she's probably the sister. Respect to this older sister for participating in her little brother's video and taking it seriously.
i loved seeing that tbh, it reminded me of when i was about the same age as danny in this also making videos and would get my brother to act in them too, he’d always put so much effort into it.
As a gag gift I bought my husband a pair of Heelys because he loved the ones he had as a kid. Now we can't go grocery shopping at the same time. I've created a monster.
Genuinely pretty solid plot. Introduced characters at a reasonable pace, sets up the tiger with the hammer and then explains him in a reasonable situation, nice conclusion with the kid finally hitting level 60 and snapping, LOVED the plot twist with the receptionist being in recovery. I'm very impressed with a bunch of 12 year olds writing this!
Ngl it wasn't even that bad. The editing was weird and inconsistent, and the camera was shaking a lot, but the storyline was pretty solid, the addicted gamer character rebelled against his addiction, and representing addiction as an anthropomorphic tiger with a framing hammer is... an interesting choice
As a person born in 2007 a couple of days before Danny's birthday, it's weird to think my mom was pregnant with me while Danny was making skits about being addicted to World of Warcraft. 😂
Yeah when I was in rehab they keep telling to turn on the tiger with the hammer and drill his face and look at me now, still recovering but not in rehab! Thanks Danny!
I like how Danny explains who his brother and friend are, but just describes the WoW demon as “some dude in a tiger mask” like he’s some random weirdo they just invited to their house to film a movie
I thought maybe it was the first channel. But then Danny explained it was the second channel where he acts silly and goofy. I still wasn't fully convinced, until he brought the La Croix out..
I love that Danny is willing to call himself out, I can definitely say I've seen people with addictions act like that, but he still calls himself out and apologies 💚🥺
Uhh, what? I think the majority of kids look the age they are, except for the outliers... I really don’t think anything has changed in recent years😐 There’s always gonna be a few early and late bloomers during puberty, that’s just statistics my dude
I‘m sorry but little Danny sitting in the chair next to his normal height friend in the beginning and looking so small is the funniest thing I have ever seen in my entire life
What?? I never ever learned about addiction in middle school and I’ve never even heard of that being a thing that was covered in schools at that age… how did you come to that conclusion? Lol
@@maddieb.4282 Maybe different generation? I definitely remember covering addiction in elementary & middle school alot. Also difference could be socio-economic, bc for me at least growing up in poverty there was alot of violence & addiction that kids in the area were witnessing at an early age
When I was a lot younger, I made a video of myself and posted it, and I was nervous, so I blinked a lot... way too much. I looked like a diva and I've been trying to find a way to report it or something but I've had no luck so far. It makes me sad. There's no lesson or anything, I'm just talking into the void of this comment section :) Thanks for reading to the end :)
Danny’s “we were the same age- uh, we still ARE the same age- he hasn’t out-aged me.” Gives me the same feels as Zuckerberg’s “I was human- I AM human, still. But I was referring to myself in the past.” 😂😂😂
@@witchassbitch3 The clip was taken from a Q&A session hosted at Facebook’s headquarters back in 2014. Zuckerberg was responding to a question from East Palo Alto eighth-grade high school student Melissa Gomez, who asked how he got past obstacles to reach his current position.
I did a school project with my friends in 8th grade where we were to record a scene about taxation without representation. My friends and I, instead of recording ours in class, all came to my house and we recorded in the woods behind my house. We screwed around a lot but eventually got a good *mostly* serious take. We were kinda worried to show the final product to class, being mostly loners, so my friend didn’t end up bringing the video to school until a week later so the teacher wouldn’t show it in class. That would have made it an automatic D or lower but he also sent her the outtakes. She apparently enjoyed them so much that we still got an A-
guys.... i think this might be his second channel.... this content seems a bit too wacky and silly to be the real drew. and the la croix?? theres just no way...
I wonder how much Smosh has influenced the landscape of youtube, because there's a whole generation of youtubers who cite them as some of the earliest youtube content they saw.
