As an Amanda, I can confirm that the second I tried searching up "what's the fastest growing army on the internet" on the internet, I was suddenly frozen in my tracks and the sky split open revealing Biblically Accurate Danny to me and had to give a blood oath swearing that I would never even ponder the question "what's the fastest growing army on the internet" again or else I would be smited where I stood and my family would be cursed for 20 generations.
I had the opposite with aging. When I was in high school, everyone thought I was in my 20s. And now that I'm in my 20s, everyone thinks I'm younger than I am and I get carded all the time. One time I got a free drink at an all ages place because I had gone to the bar to pick up my mom's drink and the bartender thought I was a teenager. And then once she checked my ID, she felt bad for talking to me like I was a child. Also about a decade ago, my friends and I made "stuff backpackers say" to keep entertained on a backpacking trip. Very of the era.
i was gonna say, i'm 22 & i look identical to how i looked when i was 15 or 16. i still get mistaken for a high schooler & i'm gonna get carded until the day i die

I'm 31 and still get carded. I think some teens just don't know how young you will still look in your twenties and early thirties for the most part. Especially with skin care and sunscreen which the last generation used less of... and less smoking too!

My skin care routine is also just to not touch my face, I just wash it from time to time. (And rinse in the shower of course.) it’s actually quite clear. I only get pimples every once in a while and they go away after about a week of me not touching them. The oil from skincare products can just worsen breakouts. (Unless you have actual acne, in which case they’ll probably be helpful)
I have that princess and the frog film on dvd, it was two of my siblings' favourite when they were younger. We did have proper movies, that one just resonated with them xD I think it shaped their style of comedy to this day

I feel like generally most guys seem to age later, like 30+. Maybe because they go through puberty later. Women seem to age sooner, especially if they have kids cause that shit is hardcore. Speaking from experience lol. Definitely got some grey hairs from that 😅

I totally feel Danny on the looking younger than you are. When I was 26 I was working as a substitute teacher at my old middle school and it happened to be school picture day and one of the photographers thought I was one of the grade 8 students. What makes this story even worse was that I was halfway through my pregnancy with my third child at this time so it felt weird being mistaken as someone half my age.

To be fair I think some younger people really overestimate how much people age in their 20’s and 30’s lol, I had 20 year olds act shocked and say “but you look our age” to me when I was 22 🙃 like yeah and you guys will also look exactly the same 1.5-2+ years from now LOL (and they did/do). But yes it’s also partially genetics, the baby face follows many of us well into adulthood Also, the most important skincare tip anyone can implement that is proven to make the biggest difference - Sunscreen (or being a hermit)
yeah. A 22 year old doesn't look all that much different from a high schooler even. If you take away the social norm, biologically, a 22-23 year old really looks about the same as a 17-18 year old physically wise
