Yeah, warm fizzy drinks are no good. I wouldn't touch them. In fact, even kinda cold normally ain't good enough, I gotta take it from the fridge and keep it in the frezzer for a bit.
Blue raspberry always seemed like a cheap, nasty flavour to me. Even if all the other flavours were technically the exact same price. I remember we used to have ice pops in the freezer all the time that were in Blue Raspberry, Strawberry, Orange and Cola flavours, and I'd only ever have a blue one if there weren't literally any of the other ones.
I started seeing a lot of American youtubers drinking (or hating on) LaCroix. As a European I got SO confused because pure sparkling water, like flavourless, is absolute S Tier to most Europeans
It's TRUE, that's how I felt about carbonated water in general but then I started using them to make spritzers and mixed drinks and now I actually kind of like some of them. Still only like the limoncello la croix though
Literally true. I switched over a few years ago as a compromise because I used to drink nothing but soda, and after a few months it's actually my favorite drink...
For a couple months in college basically the only thing I drank was boxes of pure lacroix. Not even regular water. It was a kind of self harm for me I think
I have always thought that grape fruit is the best starter La Croix. Sparkling water always tasted bittter to me, but because grape fruit was naturally a bit more tart and bitter, the bitterness of the sparkling water felt natural and was a bit masked
You have convinced me to try grapefruit. I am usually fervently against grapefruit since it’s oranges but worse, but what you said makes a lot of sense
When I was a kiddo my mom bought a few cases of la Croix instead of our usual water bottle cases. So for a full summer all I drank was la Croix and I hated life. Didn’t realize I could drink tap water until 2 months in.
When someone is far away from the background it looks separated in a sense. The only way you can tell is shadows and like that bright green line around the greenscreener’s body.
my sister and her work friends would bring a bang to work everyday and make a mega bang with all their bangs and just see how it would go everyday, uh she said it always tasted like birthday cake though cuz one girl wouldnt get anything other than birthday cake so i guess that was a flop
"What kinda Psycho drinks pure Lacroix, like just straight up bubbly water without any flavour to it?" Me, German, House regularly stocked with sparkling mineral water, holding a bottle at this moment: 👀
Same lol I went out and bought a can of LCroix for this video (my publix had a couple of singles) I bought lemon btw, I did not like it to say the least
The sibling-color thing is super relatable, I had blue as my color too among my siblings and family ,so the hating raspberry and blueberry candy or any sweet version of those flavors disgusts me…I relate to that completely.
😂😂😂 I used to intern at a beverage distribution company and our office would get literal crates of free La Croix. Within the 8 months I was there, our snack closet became a La Croix hoarding room and my boss would literally beg us to take some home on the weekends. But once La Croix basically stopped funding my addiction and I wasn’t forced to drink it everyday, I saw the light and left the LC cult. But shit that hibiscus and mango might undo all the good work I’ve done.
If he had not gone out the door and come back in I wouldn’t have believed it was real lol. I think it’s just the lighting in front of him doesn’t match with the lighting in the rest of the room.
I dead fr used to hate coconut and in most aspects of life I still do, that being said I can get behind a quick almond joy the flavor on that come together like snow on cones ... but I can dead fr only eat a bite or so, thanks for giving me a platform to rant comfortably bro ik ain't nobody finna see this or care like I might dead fr keep going just bc it's lowkey therapeutic and I'm getting a quick laugh out of it, and I dead fr love Lacroix
I am 1 year late but I finally tried LimonCello after all of your hyping it up, and I gotta say, I was not disappointed. Definitely like lemon cake. I am still a huge fan of key lime and coconut though. Also, pasteque definitely fucking blows... although they make a LaCroix "Curate" flavor called Kiwi Sandia, which is kiwi watermelon, and THAT is actually pretty good
when i was at college, there was this super strange guy in a couple of my classes (we were both studying to be french teachers so he was in my education and french classes -- and then i dropped out) and one of my first weekends there, when i still wasn't entirely sure i recognized him (bc i started in 2020 so everyone was wearing masks) and he comes up and starts talking to my friend group and i was just trying to figure out where i knew him from the whole time -- and he was like "i just got back from the grocery store -- i got la croix, does anyone want one?" and i don't think anyone said yes, and then one of the international students had an inflateable couch on the quad and he went over there. the first day i met him he gave me a business card. anyways all this to say whenever i think of la croix i think of him sorry danny
12:55 Fun Fact : The reason fizzy water tastes different to normal water is because when water is carbonated, a small amount of CO2 reacts with the water, creating carbonic acid, which is slightly sour
Why is me, an Australian, watching a grown man drink some drink we don’t even have in our country and rate it EDIT- thanks for all the likes and comments, also I think we need to get la Croix in more countries from the looks of it !
10:14 absolute facts💯 shockingly precise description of the pastequ or whatever. I dont know how but its exactly the rind of a jolly rancher also you should try the cherry blossom and mojito ones! :)
Its so interesting to watch as a non-american. Where I come from definitely sparkling water is the default carbonated drink, not cola and alike. Also i belive carbonation makes the liquid slightly more acidic so it makes sense that it feels kinda off to a person accustomed to regular water. For me sparkling water is refreshing af and i love it, its like a cooler Daniel if U catch my drift
I've been trying more sparkling waters to replace soda, and while I tried store brands and off brands, I think that la croix has really interesting flavors, and some of them make it much easier to get into sparkling water. I tried limon cello, and the vanilla gave me the sweetness I needed, and I currently have limon cerise, which reminds me of a watered-down cherry limeade from sonic, and I actually really like it. The only flavors I'm not willing to try are the ones I remember, either tasting before and hating it or the flavors my friends fully hate
to be fair my siblings also do this lol. my older sister was red, I was always pink or purple, my younger brother was blue, and my youngest sibling was always yellow
same with the colors for my family me: anything but most likely pink bc i liked it when i was a kid middle brother: green bc he likes green oldest brother: orange or blue idk why oh ok wait we are the powerpuff girls too
I am literally shopping online and I want some sparkling water but have never tried La Croix before. So I just searched Danny Gonzalez rating sparkling water and watched this. Thanks a lot I will get the lemon cello flavor
Donut I literally live in ireland where you can’t buy la croix but Danny has opened me to this world of a drink I have never tasted and didn’t know I existed
you might have clicked on this video thinking it’s his main channel, but it’s actually his second channel where he likes to get a little goofy, a little silly, a little wacky and drink la croix
I have a feeling it tastes like those god awful Drench drinks but weaker. Like someone at the factory who once held a fruit waved at a bottle of water.
A few years ago, LOKA, which is one of the sparkling water brands here in Sweden, had a limited run of odd flavours. They for example had chocolate ball flavour and raspberry frozen yoghurt flavour. They also had a few candy flavoured ones later on, amongst them liqourice/rasperry candy flavoured. I sadly never got to taste any of them before they went away, I bet they were at least interesting.
