It's not for everybody I think, but this is definitely one of my fave Christmas movies to watch. I absolutely adore the whole storyline with Arthur, it makes me tear up every single time. I'm glad you gave it a try and hope you had a nice Christmas!!

I appreciated the sweetness of the script that included Eli Wallach in such a substantial role. It's not often that classic actors have the chance to participate in GOOD films.

This is one of my favorite romantic comedies, I just love the odd ensemble of Kate Winslet, Cameron Diaz, Jude Law, and Jack Black, and the storyline with Arthur. I could just watch it over and over again! Thanks for posting this movie, Timothy!!! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

I actually like Kate Winslet/Jack Black more than Cameron Diaz/Jude Law (though I love both). The other two are just so stereotypical. A super hot guy and super hot girl hooking up in a rom-com... gee, I wonder if they'll end up together? But Iris and Miles are so sweet together, and they have the friendship thing going rather than just starting with sex and chemistry. That moment at the end when she says yes and he fist pumps while she looks up and smiles is my favorite in the whole movie!

This is one of my favorite movies in general tbh. The cast, the SOUNDTRACK, the vibe. Its just so wholesome and real in a lot of ways. Shows relationships, and friendships in a way You dont see very often. All of the relationships are very well rounded I d say and relatable. Glad you enjoyed it! I watch this one every year for the holidays!

I love variety Yah of course i know what will do well But every once in a while it’s fun to try some new stuff. I watch a movie almost everyday i gotta be diversified to keep it fresh

Absolutely! Couldn´t agree more, Tim has reacted to so many movies I love, very few people have. There are always people who react to a few, but with Tim you get the whole package. And he always shares interesting thoughts, words can not describe how thankful I am for how I can re-experience some of my all time favorite movies like this. ❤

I completely forgot how much I loved this movie. I´m just re-experiencing it today in all the right ways. I´m so sad they don´t make movies like this anymore today, but it´s definitely a perfect feel good movie. 10/10 on every level! I absolutely love it! ❤

The film that Jack Black held up and said that it changed his life was "The Mission". I cannot recommend it highly enough. The story is intense and completely in line with historical events, the score is unparalleled genius, and the scenery is breathtaking.

For the record yes, Cary Grant was actually from England, his birth name was Archibald Alexander (or Alec I'm not sure) Leach and he actually referred to that in one or two of his movies. I haven't been able to find any recording of his natural English accent though. Don't know if he started out in vaudeville in England or America. For another record we need some Cary Grant on this channel, even if they are old movies. He made three with Irene Dunne who we also hear about in this movie: The Awful Truth, My Favourite Wife and Penny Seranade (mostly good but I wasn't sure about the ending). There's also 3 with Katherine Hepburn (no relation to Audrey Hepburn though he did make one with Audrey in the early 60s called 'Charade'): Bringing Up Baby, Holiday, The Philadelphia Story. And there's also two Alfred Hitchcock movies he starred in: To Catch a Thief, North by Northwest. A dramatic but funny movie that first taught me about insurance (I think) is 'the talk of the town) but two of his funniest movies are definitely 'His Girl Friday' (the most famous out of various adaptations of the play it was based on, Rosalind Russell starred opposite him) and 'Arsenic and Old Lace' (which you can tell was adapted from a play and in which you can also see traces of his vaudeville days). Seriously though, I'd love to see your reaction to any of these movies.

Holiday is one of my favorite movies . I am such a fan of Jude Law and Jack Black then add them with Kate Winslet and Cameron Diaz..... I am all in . For me this is such a life learning and delightful film to watch any time of the year . I truly love this movie so much. I really enjoyed your reactions and commentary for Holiday a lot . You were pretty quiet throughout this reaction but I appreciate it, cause it is a pretty laid back, feel good love story. A lot of reactors overact a lot and you can tell that it’s all for views but you just do whatever you feel and it’s great. When I watch your videos I know you’re being honest about how you feel about the films which is why this has come to be one of my most favorite channels to watch and I just want to say thank you! There are various forms of toxic boyfriends and girlfriends and the more movies that are made about them the better, might be a good warning signal to others - either that they're in a relationship with someone toxic or to hint to someone that they might be acting toxic and need to change their behaviour.

There's so little humour in this film that if I hadn't heard it was a comedy, I'd have assumed it to be a drama.

Eli Wallach who played Arthur starred as Tuco (The bad) in The Good the Bad and the Ugly as well as appearing in classic movies such as Babydoll, The misfits, The godfather III and The Magnificent Seven.

Well I absolutely LOVE this movie... shortly after it came out I had the DVD and it was my sleep movie... I would put it on whenever I needed to sleep... I watched it literally hundreds of times... I could describe the movie to you scene by scene if not line by line... it like that you a single guy are willing to watch a cutesy rom com like this one... I like the end... I feel like Jude law and Cameron Diaz might end up together but Kate Winslow and Jack black are not nearly as far alone in their relationship... Eli Wallach .. the old man is a very famous actor in his own right... sadly he passed away shortly after this movie came out

I've been delayed in seeing your reactions by the holidays, but I'm catching up! I'm not much for Rom-Coms, but this is one of the few that I've seen and absolutely love. You often surprise me with your choices of movies to react to, managing to see some that I don't see people react to. I really appreciate that about your channel. 26:40 People like him don't want to commit to one relationship, but it flatters their ego or makes them feel powerful to keep stringing one person along while they pursue other relationships with other people, so they'll act like they care about them when they don't and use it to act like they're in a relationship when they're not but can deny that it was anything more than a one night stand, because they only ever think about their own ego and how many people they can string along and their own pleasure and enjoyment and never once consider someone else's feelings. At all. But they also always phrase it in a way so that when they're confronted with their behaviour they can act like the other person is being unfair or unreasonable or is in the wrong some way, making them feel bad about how they feel so that they can stay in the clear and can continue to use them, and always acting like somehow they're in the right. And that's actually what Amanda's boyfriend at the beginning did as well - she's confronting him about his cheating on her and he just says stuff like "you know you always do this right" and makes her feel bad for working a lot and never actually answers her question but doesn't break up with her either though their relationship is going nowhere.

I HATE JASPER!!!! The way he just keeps kate hanging on when he doesnt want her just fir his ego...she can be unhappy everyday but he fee OK s vetter about himself...then blames It on her with these evasions and implications!!! But it just makes it that much better when she gets it!!! Jack black was acmajor trade up!! By the way i also love his musical score monolog....i share his passion for music sk good to see it again after school of rock! And who doesnt love kate and aurthur!!
