Water and Ice Not working on Whirlpool Fridge 

Thanks Bearded Guy! My son found your video and showed it to me. I said “no way. It’s gotta be the solenoid valve.” We weren’t getting water or ice. Well we played around with the switch a bit and Hallelujah! It works! I’m sure glad our son found your video. God Bless you for helping people out.

Great video! I have a different problem that I hope you or someone can help. I have a new Whirlpool and hooked up a water supply line. Water is flowing TO the Refridge but no water from dispenser or ice maker. Doors are closed and I dont have a switch issue. What might it be? Seems that something is shut off in the fridge. Advice appreciated!

very helpful. This was my problem

I changed my filter, sputters a bit, but then nothing. Sputters a bit then nothing. I've been doing the every 5 sec on and off for 45 minutes and same results, sputters and then nothing. Yikes, very frustrating.

Great video, I have the same fridge and the Icemaker works sporadically sometimes leaking water (not overfilling, checked that already) I’ve tried replacing it four times but isn’t working. Also the top refrigerator compartment won’t go lower than 40° even after cleaning the coils and checking that the evap and cond fans both work ? I’m out of ideas other than the board being faulty, any ideas ? Thanks for your help

Very helpful! We have the WRF767SDEM01 Whirlpool gold series. We lost ice maker, water and LED interior lights. It was acting up a couple of times the last year, but now it appears to have broken again. Should we try the switch replacement first?

Mine did same thing.do you think when they put on dolly and strap down to tight.its pushing in the doors too much and making the dent in door?

What if the thing is not lighting up at all on this model for the dispenser

What caused the dent?

Have the same fridge and it isn’t cooling. It’s at 47 even if I set it to 37. I tried resting it and defrost the fridge

I’ve tried unlocking my ice maker but it’s not unlocking

Okay I desperately need to go home from work now and see if this resolves the problem.

How do you fix low pressure for the water dispenser? I also have this same fridge

You pay that much money and this is a weak spot in the design.

So bottom line is the door facing was dented and no one seemed to want to fix or repair that, looked for the easy fix, that is a band-aid not a repair, OH where have all the true technicians gone I guess! OMG - Just fix the dent for God's sake!
