Bad design on guide block causing water leak and installation instructions. This will stop water from going underneath block and getting down anchor in tile causing you a major headache later. www.cartexonline.com
Hoping I can replace the bottom seal without removing the door. Botton seal became loose and slides along and the door even came out of the guide. The door seems to rub against the guide. I did reinsert forcing the door up a bit and pushing the seal back in.
Did the stainless steel splash guard come with the shower door or did you buy it separately. I purchased a house with a Dreamline sliding shower door and water comes under the door. Using a towel to stop the water
Dreamline has a strange design for the door. Or did you install it reversed? Your shower is spraying INTO the door jamb. If the door would slide OUTSIDE of the fixed glass, the shower head wouldn't be spraying water into jamb.
Do I caulk, use sweeper , for sliding door - ? 1/4-3/8 sliding one. 1/32 or so between permanent door & the tile ? - do caulk outside/ inside? Sweeper ? Need to keep water off gizmo where doors cross - ( sorry - don’t know what called. ). Handy guy won’t come fix. Said use tape. Don’t think that works long term. Thanks.
