I remember, when I was in high school and my teacher told me, I would never be able to pass my English exams, that day, I decided to dream big. I didn't know what it would look like. Then, I left that school, went to another, during my next 4 years, I was an A student and got an A on my finals and even went to study English language and literature at university and graduated with two A's as well. What I accomplished was totally out of reach back then. It was a great lesson I got early on, now I don't mind reaching higher, because I know I am able to get there. Wonderful advice! :)

What a fantastic achievement. I was told to give up my dream to go to university. Eventually I studied English at A level as a mature student and achieved an A when there were no A* grades. I went on to study History at degree level and emerged with First Class Honours. Nothing beats how good that felt.

I told my friends I wanted to be a vet and my science teacher said I wasn’t intelligent enough. I was so embarrassed in front of everyone. As a mature student I gained a first class honours degree with distinction and a master degree in vascular science. That teacher ruined part of my life as gave me low self confidence. He ought to be ashamed. What I should have said to him was that he was a useless science teacher!!!! If only you could turn back time.

I made a phone call to Epsom Hospital Surrey to ask if I could treat patients with Aromatherapy I was lucky to be the first person to treat people with Heart ♥ and stroke it was wonderful I still remember those patients See you soon Marisa xxx🐬🐬🐬

Now I'm 37 and I'm working on myself to remove all these negative attitudes, but it's very hard. Only thanks to such videos there is still hope!

This video came in the perfect time. I have a dream and I'm very clear about it. I'm taking the necessary steps daily. I know this works because it happened to me in high school. Even though I was a good student, towards the end of high school my grades got worse and worse, cos I didn't care anymore. When my brother graduated, they called the best 3 students out on stage. I liked that idea and it had become my goal, to better my grades for the remaining two years and to get on that stage. It seemed impossible, but I was so fixated on it that it actually really happened. I graduated as second best and was standing on that stage. Then I have seen this happening with other things in my life too. To be honest it's even a little scary that it works this good. Of course it's also a lot of work, but in the end, it works. You get what you dreamed of even if it seems impossible at first.

Thank you so much Marisa. I always thought dreaming of doing more things was sometimes not right as I thought I would be setting the bar to high for me to achieve. However, by listening and watching this video, what you have mentioned actually matched my gut instinct and intuition - that is to keep on learning, developing skills, take new paths, and think about how to move forward and adapt and think the bigger picture. After all, it's about our dreams and how we want to achieve them. And not about other people's opinions. Dreaming big allows us to open more doors that we never imagined and that there are so many opportunities that we don't see because we limit ourselves.

I suffer from feelings of worthlessness...I have the relationship I have always wanted and now wonder why and if I've deserved my biggest dream. I know you have good videos on developing self-esteem so I'm going to be taking a look at those and continually expand and believe in my dreams.
