We are building a tiger tank! 

I have found myself helping my friend Alex build a scale model Tiger 1 tank used by the Germans during the Second World War out of steel uni strut and wood with a super-powered potato cannon as the main armament.
we are more than likely going to rebuild the gun as it was built for a different project a while ago and is starting to rot in places
we are using a Vulcan Omni Pro 220 multi-process welder from Harbor Freight on 120 volts running .030 self-shielding wire
this is not a sponsored endorsement but this is a decent welder in my experience if you take the proper precautions to stay within its duty cycle. my main complaint with this welder is not capable of doing the AC process for TIG welding but you can't have it all with a budget machine.
