Honestly though, I've read and watches some of his interviews and he seems so genuine and nice and intelligent. If you haven't read it, I'd recommend his interview with Broadwaywiz about bullies. It's really interesting and speaks to his understanding of teenagers and in-depth he goes with Connor as a character.

fun fact, Mike's right(?) eye is split between brown and blue. this is because he Hetarochromia Iridum, which makes at least one eye have multiple colours. I'm Hetarochromic (blue and teal) and i found that really cool

I really wish I could see him in this role. I really want to know more about "the real" Connor as well as see Evan's view of Connor. I find the role of Connor fascinating and yet its the one character in the musical we know the least about. In my opinion, that really speaks volumes to the work Mike Faist and the writers put into his character. He earned that Tony nomination and was happy his work was recognized.

Bro, I look up to Mike Faist, and Dear Evan Hansen is the thing that introduced me to him. Just reminds me of my dad for some silly reason and he is always so straight forward and smart. I miss how I literally grew up with the musical. I went to every Broadway I could go, I sadly didn't go to the last because instead of sobbing at the end and getting over it, I'd literally ball my eyes out for months. He played my favorite character and technically gave me the confidence I never had as a teenager. Thank you Mike Faist.

I’m only watching this because Mike is playing Riff in Steven Spielberg’s movie remake of West Side Story. Should be interesting to see how he has transformed from Connor to the leader of the Jets!
