You know, when John left, I thought who's this new guy, he will never replace John. However Luke is a proper legend.

Gonna throw something into the mix here, Middlesbrough is an absolute melding pot of creative talent right now. If you're into the scene, you'll know there are talented music producers, DJ's, Dancers, Videographers, artists, musicians, promoters, and a whole host more. We don't get much chance to advertise ourselves, we've had nobody to teach us how - but if you know a smoggy; you're in. From massive raves under the Boro bridge, to bespoke art exhibitions around the town, and unique club nights on baker street, there really is nothing like it. Personally, I think we've got more to offer than Newcastle, and we're nothing in size. But we're so passionate about our respective arts that we're becoming a force to be reckoned with. I've been in and around the scene in boro for nearly 15 years, and I can promise you - I have never ever seen such a buzz around this area as I have recently. There is just so much talent. There's the funkbox festival, pitch festival, Rhythms club, Riff Raff (soon to have it's 20th anniversary) and hosted by a legendary Ibizan resident, Grooves for the foolish, and tons more. I have never seen so many artists, from so many fields, in so many generations come together ever. Even back when I was a young sprout back before 2009, nobody ever spoke about this town like they do know. If you ever decide to come back, get in touch - and let us show you the true artistic, cultural side of this town. Very soon people will start to get glimpses of what we have to offer, this place will be a honeypot.

Had my reservations about Luke, naturally, as a result of my undying love for John but I have to say, Luke has established himself as a firm top 5 happy hour side character.

I came to the show in Middlesbrough, honestly it’s the most I’ve laughed in ages. Absolutely brilliant show! I made a new friend at the show as well! Also, fun fact I used to work at Manjaros where you had the parmo😀. Thank you lads for a great show and a great podcast! VIVA LA HAPPY HOUR!!🎉
