Cool truck. I had a 75 F 250 Super cab Ranger 390 - 4V , C6. Factory A/C Short bed. 2 factory tanks and another 50 gal in the bed. Never passed a gas station I didn't like. Only rust was cab corners. Had to sell 20 years ago before left San Diego.
Man, i have never seen so many 2wd ford trucks. I live out in south jersey and everthing is 4wd for the most part. I mean not everything but it seems like it at times. Rad stuff guys.
Awesome truck ! Funny thing is I literally just got a 78 f150 supercab in a trade ! Mine is a true survivor original paint , No rust , even the bed floor only has 2 small dents! Can't wait to see what direction you go with this one !
I once had a 78 supercab. 351 auto shortbed 2wd, my plans were to restore it, 460 and ZF-5 4x4 swap it. Drove 5 hours to get it sight unseen, dude lied to me about the condition, all the front and rear floor pans were rotted out, still bought it, but not for his asking price. Sat on it a month and made $400 off of it lol
Those 460 bottom ends are stout you can make 700 or 800 on stock bottom end it helps if you put a girdle on it and a jon kaase oil pump on it but some heads and a hydro roller cam intake and new carb you got a fun street motor

No. They sell kits to convert them to rear wheel drive. Imagine a Focus with a v8 and a 6spd... It'd be amazingly fun. Porsche killer for a quarter of the price!

Nice Truck for sure!!! I have a white 71 f100 sb. It's got a 351 M. I'll be taking it out and putting a 396 Chevy motor in it.why? Cause I can. I'm only 61 yrs young. Great video Craig
