I would never win a long drive contest, I usually focus on driving in the fairway and try to not loose any balls in the woods. You should ask your contestants to drive between a 50 yards range.😀

@@akezika Next time you watch a long drive contest on TV, you'll understand that you need to be straight, their field is about 50-60 yards wide. I have played golf with a gorilla that hit 300+ yards. We were a threesome and they match our group with that clown. It is not fun at all to look for his ball at every hole. He got 2 nice drives in the round, the rest of his shots were a complete disaster in the woods and on other holes. Moreover he was using a Taylormade SIM2. It was a running gag at the time, all golfers that we played that year with SIM2, they all had huge slice.

@@gmsvalley well, the fact is that you cant compete at the highest level if you have a sub 260 drive. It's easier to learn to hit it straight than to gain distance. One of the most important things we teach our juniors is power then everything else

Btw SIM2 is one of Taylormades best drivers. Maybe you have a problem with it because it's low spin

@@akezika I love the SIM2, my friend had one, it has a nice look and I tried it and loved it. It was just funny to see over the season that SIM2 players that had to join our group were all very bad with it.
