Fun fact: you can catch yourself without taking damage when you fall off that cliff by just grinding on the rail below you. You don't even have to time the button prompt, just hold whatever keybind you have that makes you railgrind and you should automatically start grinding and avoid all fall damage! This also works for gunners ziplines!
Actually, this works for ANYTHING you need to press interact for! Pickups, buttons, repairs, reposits or deposits, just hold E and you'll do it automatically as sokn as you can! Another tip for deposits is to alternate from interact and pickaxe rapidly to speed it up significantly.
Should be doing our first deep divers in the next deep rock video, or potentially the one after that if we cant record before season 4, as for that haz 5 achievement, we’ve yet to beat one normally 😅
@@Br4dl89 Do it in a 1 length 1 complexity mining expedition, those have the fewest bugs and are fairly straightforward. Driller flamethrower and engi breach cutter works well in the tight spaces for the few waves you have to deal with.
@Br4dl89 I personally did a Haz 5 without resupply by doing a solo point extraction as scout. Between a grapple, special powder, and Bosco, if you ignore everything besides the aquarqs themselves, you can get the mission done just around the first major wave of bugs, and be out two minutes later.
for my pipeline achievement, although with bosco and his auto build, I decided to beat the mission and it lasted over 80 (?) minutes, i forget exactly how long, but it was over an hour.
Same dude, took me a full weekend to get the achievement because I kept failing on my first try, but once I got the achievement I just said fuck it and completed it
I got the “I like it down here” achievement by just trying to complete my first On Site Refinery, when I saw it pop up i was like: “oh shit have I really been down here for this long?” At the end I made it safe and sound
i was playing On Site Refinery when i got it too, i knew what i was doing but i was soloing haz 3 on a map that was definitely NOT made for pipelines, picture a ground level with a huge pit in the middle, the refinery was down there, then there were 4 shelves above the main area that went reallyy high and there was one pump at the top and one at bottom and the last pump was far away in some other room, i also got like 10 swarms, and i was playing Engineer and had to mine tunnels, took me 1 hour and 20 minutes
My first Aquarq mission. In Glacial Strata. With most of the damn Aquarqs in the ceiling. No team, did not know Bosco could mine for them. Scout practice, could not reach them by grapplehook. Plus I freaking hate ice unless I'm the one weilding it... Or y'know, allies are weilding it. Just as long as I'm not suffering the frostbite myself. Needless to say that was two and a half hours in a frozen hellscape... And I most certainly did NOT like it there. But now that I have experience... *Palm through face.* 3000% Skill Issue.
Here's a tip for all you, if you're falling and there's a pipe underneath you hold the interact button or whatever the grind button is and it'll negate all fall damage, rock and stone gents
I got literally every other achievement before carpool. It took 4 hours of dedicated effort by myself and 3 other brave souls from the fiscord to finally get it.
@@Br4dl89 unfortunately my antics just cost us a haz 5 mission literally 2 feet from the drop pod 💀 We were in there way to long and the swarm got too big, literally 2 detonators in about 5 mins of each other. I am now banned from pipelines and dropped from on site refining if possible 😭 (Worth it)
21:03 By default it's bound as Z for push-to-talk but in options under audio you can disable push to talk to have open mic. Or you can disable voice chat entirely if you want.
Fun fact, you can get without a paddle in a regular non-elimination mission, this is how got it ! Dreadnought can replace normal swarm event, abeit very rarely
I accidentally found the best strat for the barrel surfing achievement, put barrel next to assignment board/whatever interactable bit, and then jump on barrel and interact with the board before you are thrown off, this freezes your model on the barrel and gets you the achievement with ease
you have no idea the pain I felt seeing you get Car Pool so easily after getting on the Harvester, I have been playing this game for Too Long and still don't have it :(
@@Br4dl89 Whenever I go for it the harvester inevitably beelines for the closest wall and throws us all off, and any time there's actually enough bugs that we'd be able to do it all the harvesters have quantum warped into the next area code
You can actually get barrels out of the launch bay, by pushing them under the bridge and into the observation window by the Deep Dive terminal... 👀 So if you lose them down there, they aren't an entirely lost cause... Edit: Nevermind, made the comment before seeing that's exactly what you did later... 😹
I remember getting that barrel achievement. I joined a solo lobby and this mf driller had not just put a barrel in every seat, but every barrel in the hub was in the drop pod. We could BARRELY fit inside of it *wink*.
Полезный факт: имея в платформенной пушке модификацию во 2 тире на снижение урона при падении на платформу можно стрелять платформами под себя и почти с любой высоты кокой бы большой она не была получать минимум урона приземляясь на платформы ( касается так же и союзников)
I accidentally got the "Without a Paddle" achievement in my first.. 10 hours or so of the game. Playing Haz 2 or 3, a normal mission. I am the unluckiest dwarf.
@@Br4dl89 I am resisting the urge to add battleblock theater to my games I’m playing rn because splitting time between deep rock season 4, TOTK, and my art is already crazy hard
What you should have done for the dreadnought one was instead of trying to revive after spawning, go in with iron will, so you don’t have to go to the next person and revive them.
@@Br4dl89 ended up getting my friends to help lol. Not a fan of public discords, they're way too spammy to function in. turns out they didn't mind, but did want to play afterwards (which is understandable). so now i just have to suffer in the hoop game.... *end me.*
@@Br4dl89 staying on the map wasnt that hard. the tutorial mission is only on hazard 2. besides, the "pro gamers" of DRG prefer to rush the missions quickly to grind out credits instead of just playing the game for fun...
I actually got “I kinda like it down here” on accident on a on site refinery mission, I was trying to kill every loot bug and get every peice of mineral, then I got the achievement and I said “What the fuck.”
That’ll be either ‘Patric Catani - Battleblock Theatre (Wicked Mummy)’ or ‘Nico Staf - Fast and Run’- songs are always in my descriptions in chronological order! :))
