@GlenAndMado yea give or take $5. Y'all had Snapper which is rather expensive and dare I say it, slightly over rated. Personally I'm a huge fan of Tarakihi fish. Very good eating and a lot cheaper then Snapper.

I used 2 go there once in a month,Red snapper and Teraki r the best after havin some drinks on The Strand in Lone star ,golden days of life .❤

Here in Australia in our Fish & Chip Shops (Chippies) is that you would Never Ever get Mushy Peas with your Fish & Chip Orders at any Chippie Shop anywhere here from places of any Towns &/or Cities all over Australia at all but the only thing you can only get is Tartare Sauce and also Vinegar and also a Slice of Lemon as well too & beside that (NOT) Only we have both Grilled Fish & Battered Fish but also these is Crumbed Fish that you can also have with your Chips & the Crumbed Fish Fillets is covered in Bread Crumbs instead of Batter of course.

Same, went to Tauranga Boys' and lived in Maitland st Greerton. Left for Sydney in 1982. Still a deadly place. I come from Motiti island. 💪😎🇳🇿

You picked a good time to go to Bobby's... It gets busy in the day.. Worse when the Cruise Ships come to port.. its an acquired taste.. all the fish there you'd enjoy..

haha yeah it wasn’t to bad at all! we were last ones sitting down for food so it was closing time. we haven’t actually seen the cruise ships docking yet in Tauranga but im curious if you can actually embark on the cruise ships from Tauranga 🤔

Blue Cod is the best Fish in NZ, by a mile, you'll find it more in the Sth Island.

U get a ton more food options here but the food itself not great, for instance they put weird runny cheese on everything, it's not even real cheese! But I am bias

getting good fish and chips in NZ , is more of personal choice,,,, there are good fish and chip shops all over NZ,,,,,,,,if you are in Auckland ,,,, any Toby's will amaze you ,, as far as I know ,, there's one in New Lynn , one in Otahuhu , and one in Manurewa,,,then Otaki , right down by the beach (I spoke to an American , he reckons he comes back to NZ , specifically Otaki , just to get his fish and chip fix )then there's any number of good fish and chip shops in the South Island ,,,,really . if a shop sells sub standard fish and chips in NZ ,,, they will not be in business for very long ,,,,, nb , love your vids
