Another great calm day entices us to return to the outer reef of Manjack Cay in the Abacos, Bahamas. The corals and caves are just spectacular there. But we eventually want to start seeing more of the Bahamas so we pull anchor under sail to do one last stop at Green turtle Cay. That's where we can stock up on fresh produce and water. When cruising though plans change often and that's what happens to us when a phone call home forces us to stay put. Filmed April 2021.

Sorry Craig. So recent. I hope you are doing ok considering. I think it's a blessing and a curse at times being so far from everything. You get to disconnect a little and not have the grief always at the forefront of your mind. On the other hand is so hard not being physically around for family. Our thoughts are with you.

Sorry to hear about your father passing. I have lost all of my family and many friends along the journey we call life. Great advice about letting others know how important and special; they are. I have many regrets in my early life about that. Luckily none in my later life. FYI, motor mounts will be here around teh 6th, Hopefully I will be underway shortly after that. Manjack Cay is my first stop after checking in!!!!! Stay Healthy!!

I own a home on GTC. I also found out about my dad in process of dying while on the island. It’s a surreal feeling to be in paradise but so stricken with grief.

So very sorry for your loss! It's very hard to lose loved ones for sure. I lost my Daughter, my Mom and my Dad and all I can recommend is thinking about and remembering all the good times, good memories and reminding yourself that they are all now watching over us and smiling for sure! Ahh, my thoughts are with you bruh- i lost my stepdad on dec6 - Life is short, it’s as long as the hash mark on a gravestone- much love bruh- im slowly but surely getting my things together to meet yall out in the Caribbean with my boat soon- 2024

For such experienced divers sure seems you touched the coral a lot….?

We do try our best but when spearing we often get caught up trying to catch fish and come closer to the reef. Try and remove a grouper from a hole he has snuck into without touching any reef for example.
