Good one Levi. No ugly gold either. I thought I could see some crystalline faces on some of those bits. That gold could just alluvial gold up om olde terraces. May have been put there by glaciers, but your a bit high in the state for that me thinks. Really an interesting area. More work needs to be done before the vegetation grows back. Be a long time till that areas sees another fire.

19 mins in. Your mate had The "Scarecrow" piece. Looked like a character in a horror movie on 1 side. 😄 I give my gold nuggets names. I have "The Race Car". "The 69er," "My heart" , and "The NC nugget" just for a few. They all have a story. .250 or bigger.

You two found some beautiful Peace's of gold , !! I used to do this also myself as well , I still have most of my gold I found , now my boyfriend at the time bought a spyale weel to drop the pay dirt into, but here is the thing about this, he was doing this with my dirt when I was not there. I went over to his house one night , and found him working my pay dirt and claiming my gold . Now you may ask how I new it was my gold ?? Well it's because my name was on my bucket !! Needless to say we are not together anymore , and if you are wondering if I got my gold back ??? Well I found it in a file cabinet that he had in his bedroom one day , so what did I do about it ?? I took it back !!! Because you see , anything I did that make me happy , he took away from me. Now I'm happy being on my own, you know ,at this point I would rather have a dog !! Then a boy friend, God bless you all, and have a very merry Christmas !!!!
