How much gold can be found upstream!! Returning to the river were i broke my Gold Record!!
In this video I return on an overnight prospecting trip to the river where I sniped almost half an ounce of gold in a single day this time I take all the tools necessary to find gold in the bedrock of this river.
Crevicing for gold underwater is a very productive way to find gold. On this return trip I head way upstream in search of rich gold deposits.
This adventure was another extremely successful trip finding multiple gold nuggets. Rob Parsons joins me on this adventure in to the deep wilderness of Tasmania's gold bearing rivers.
Will I break my previous gold record stay tuned to find out.

I'm a prospector, but also have a spearfishing/lobster background. You got me hooked on fresh water, no weight belt sniping. Some trips have been better than others, but there's always some gold, if I try hard enough.👌🇦🇺 ( No freshwater Cray's are ever harmed)

Yeh that’s my fav shot too lifting that rock looked epic but I dropped that sucker on my foot towards the end of that clip and took a while to free myself 🤣 luckily head was above water

Well done Boyz Bloody great to see you working together. I'm so glad that you took Rob to that river Levi your a ledgend mate real solid dude that's rarer than Gold itself these days, and yeah you can never beat the bits that you can pick up. Got to love the nugs. I Can't wait till you find that kilo plus one mate you deserve it. A bloke up this way picked one up not so long ago think it went 1.1 kg. Would be interesting to see how you would go just detecting the bigger peices out of the water in a day and cover some ground. Sniping is the best! I've done it here in Ca since '73. We would pack in for 4-5 days. Wish we had GoPros back in the day to record some great finds. Keep at it and hope you have a multi ounce day!

Was panning the rocks at 2.24 and at 9.24 I put the tree there for my wifey to climb down! Your welcome 😂. The river was a little higher then but I still found some AU. As I was watching you guys getting into that rougher bed rock I was thinking, they're about to get into some bigger gold, it just screamed flood area that would move and trap big gold. Now that I think of it, that rough spot reminds me of the areas Pioneer Pauly snipes in. You guys killed it!

That was bloody brilliant! I was actually in Ulverstone yesterday, also went to Port Sorrel, Burnie and fossicked for jasper in Penguin (got alot). Ulverstone is a very very nice place, seems to have everything my family want and need in a town. Now it's a toss up between Launceston, Port Sorrel and Ulverstone as per where we will get best value for money and resale growth for future investment. Your gold would make a stunning mosaic. Spent the day around Mole Creek, Deloraine and Liffy Falls today (Im not sure if Liffy Falls is on the map for prospecting but dang you can feel the gold in the place) Cheers again for the vid and grats on your haul.

Yeh that hole went to my waist the camera really didn’t capture it sucked me right up. Yeh I actually enjoy filming but the downsides for sure are trying to keep equipment dry, lugging it around with me and the time sacrificed when I could just be prospecting or enjoying everything around me more

Really enjoyed your story as to why you do this prospecting. I’m feel the same way when I’m out in nature. In fact we moved out of the big city of Houston Tx. to a 30 acre ranch to be away from all the people and lights that hid the night sky. I prospected in California with a cousin from Oregon. We spent a week camping in a little old town called “Happy Camp”. The river has lots of gold and at the time he had a dredging float. And we recovered 6200 dollars of gold. Based on 1500 a ounce. We split it and that’s how I paid for my trip. It was fun and beautiful in the mountains. Thanks for your videos. Michael R.
