yeah treating people with respect goes a long way. and the reasoning behind closing before 15 is not a bad one, even though it sucks for people that arent in school.
I really appreciated how calm and professional he was. I worked at a public park that had a skatepark in it and I always handled those kind of problems in a similar way. I spent alot of time explaining to older Co workers explaining that yelling and trying to seem like a big boss would usually get you opposite results. When we were calm and tried to see things from they're point of view we got way less graffiti afterwards 😅
This was the first park I skated at. Failed at everything pretty epicly. Sunnyvale skatepark was the second place, mostly cause Fishbanks skate shop was across the street. Heard Fishbanks closed which is sad.
And yes Have the whole Braille Team shred every local park in Bakersfield with Mo...would be awesome!!! Great job making that work Mogely, it looked rough in every way skating there, I can only imagine how it felt to actually skate that place!
I know a lot of complaints were filed about the park but honestly I like how difficult it looks, its sorta like a park that will prep you for real life street spots.
If you think about it, having a skate park on school property is pretty cool. A lot of schools are taking down their jungle gyms and other "dangerous" obstacles. It also isn't surprising that it is off limits during school hours or that safety equipment is required. Try as a 30 year old man going to swing on the school swingset.
i totally get the frustration with the park hours, but after the attendant explained it, it really -does- make sense as a children first policy- especially since skaters like skipping school, too. i'd know.
I would like that to be a series(braille members skating their local parks before they came)it was like when AK went to red lodge 😎👌 mogley really killed it here in a bad park and it was BECAUSE of that helmet(no doubt, all worries were gone 😆👌)love braille 😎 ♥️
Mogely skating the park looked a lot of fun. Wish he rated it after to see if it got better or not. Really cool tricks and one of his best runs I've watched. Thanks
Mo need to bring u guys to the Delano skatepark near Bakersfield! You guys would pass by it coming from the bay to Bakersfield. JD needs to try it for sure!
Laughing so hard throughout this whole vid! 🤣 I mean, I guess it's... something...to "skate" for people. I'm just wondering if this park was actually built by skaters because it doesn't seem like it at all!?! And also who the heck is coming up with these ideas to have skateparks built next to schools and businesses in these cities, which ultimately forces the parks to stay closed for half the whole dang day!? If I went to that park and saw all that, I'd just turn around and go outside the park and street skate around it, lol! Still a great video tho nonetheless!!! Everybody got me cracking up, especially Nigel!! "Did they get prisoners to build this!?!" 👀😭🤣💀 *by the looks of it, yes... Keep shredding Keep Helmets Alive Mogely lol
If you hit Bakersfield, you gotta check out Rosamond lol my hometown park. It's trash, but I hear there's new parks in the Antelope Valley area that are nice. I haven't been back to visit in some years, so I haven't had the chance yet
You guys should check out Prods park in Orange Cove great huge park here in the central California if you do go to Bakersfield to Moe’s home town its in between.
Y’all should skate the Sylacauga skate park it literally has like five ramps two rails and a five stair It’s in Sylacauga ,AL nobles park, thanks so much love the videos jd is the best and youngest🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Well you guys also have to consider that not only skaters uses the skateparks. Bmx and scooter guys uses it too. That’s probably why some of the stuff were pretty steep so people can fly out of it or flair it or gap it.
i used to live near this park and always wanted to skate it but they told me that if i dont live in that exact city i wasent aloud to skate it, idk if that has changed mind u i was like 8 im 25 now so idk. not that you asked but to explain why they would say no even tho i lived near my id would say cupertino but it was Santa clara Sanjose/sunnyvale/cupertino and Santa clara are all extremly close county's and since i dident live there they said no.
Come to Lehigh Valley. We practically have free skate parks in every town now and I believe 3 of them are concrete. I think Bethlehem, Allentown, and Emmaus have concrete skateparks. Nazareth, East Stroudsburg, Penn Argyl, Phillipsburg, and a few other towns have wood or metal ramps.
