thanks for the reminder to have a bit of joy and leisure when your workplace is also your home. Since the beginning of COVID my office has pivoted to teleworking and it's been gardening that's been that bit of leisure and joy at home. Now that frost is here and that the garden is gone I'm falling back on gardening channels like yours :)

In each season of your life you need help it is often beneficial for you and your spouse to talk to someone else whether it be your medical professional your mental professional your farm planner or just a good friend but you've got to both be on board and I'm so glad you see you are

I am so glad you posted this video right now! I am at the beginning stages of building a microgreens and starter plant business while living in the city. I have so many ideas and I've been trying to start gathering my thoughts and I have started writing stuff down. It's been a total whirlwind so far and I'm inspired and motivated to make my business successful and share it with my girls! I find you such an inspiration to all that you touch with your videos! That was very insightful and I think many of those questions can be applied to your vision for your home life even if you don't have a big garden or a home business. My kids are grown and I need to plan my near future for my next season in life and not for the past. Thanks for the inspiration.

I also love to watch her experiences on her farm with her husband and family. Not often does my life here reflect Jess's Farm Life although I grow much less in my garden and keep an open mind for some of the veggies She has tried to grow rather succesfully.

Can I ask a rather personal question? How do you know your current home/farm isn't where God's calling you to be? Did you feel that from the beginning? Is it because of your goals? We're looking to move, but it's so hard to know if it's truly the right thing.

I know you didn’t ask me, but the Bible talks about “peace beyond understanding” (Phil. 4:6-7) when praying and making requests. I’ve found that the calm even in scary situations is how I can know. Pray for clarity and for the ability to understand his will. It’s taken years but I’ve never regretted taking a leap of faith when I had a peace that I shouldn’t have. I hope that helps.

Absolutely. We knew when we moved here financially it was the right choice but not a long term option for us. We want more land and be able to be more diverse with animals we have etc. we’ve spent a lot of time seeking God and asking him to open doors and we are truly at peace knowing we are only here for this season. I pray God will give you clarity on where your family needs to be planted (even if it’s for a season).
