In Japanese, the phrase Wabi Sabi is an "appreciation of imperfection." You did a fine job on the windows, and imperfection is simply the mark of human hands. Machine-made perfection would look wrong in your beautiful hand-made home.

I really hope that you are both aware of just how much I support you in everything that you do. Please do not be too hard on yourselves or doubt yourselves… as we say over here in England mistakes are often part of the character of a building, in the same way that real perfection will always be an unobtainable dream. Everything looks great! The windows are perfect. The white paint looks great next to the original brick wall. A new catspector??? Did Annika go on vacation or did she need help 😂! Marina & Illia, my goodness you have both done an extrodinary job. I always smile sometimes with tears because you have taken this project for your family with little outside help. The personal touches you add would not happen had you had construction workers doing the job. Many blessings 🥰.

The windows do make a great difference and l love the colours you have chosen. The white inside is perfect as are the various surfaces, brick, cement block, rough plaster, it all ties together to create the perfect rustic feel. Looks fantastic.

White is nice too on walls, because you can set many things and flowers on and get colors if you like. Silk flowers do not need water, but sometimes shower to get dust away.

I love George inspecting the cows as they inspect him! Such curiosity all around! Windows and wall paint look great together. Sunflowers are fun to grow and they can surprise us with how big they get! I thought at the end the cat inspector was headed home after a good days work, but it was George!

The windows and walls look great! Painting is a pain, but the efforts are well worth it. Marina, you look like me after I paint. I am usually covered with it too, all over my clothes, hands, and in my hair. And I'm an artist so you would think I would be tidier. lol You two are such a good team.

I love watching what you two do, and the family too. You are very warm and welcoming, and I absolutely love the cats and the fish and the flowers. The progress on the buildings is always fascinating. Your tiny house seems so cozy. Windows at street level, so to speak, are so much more welcoming than windows up high. Love it! Perfection isn't all it's cracked up to be, the imperfections add character.

I think you guys could do a second channel just videoing the sunrise, sunset, flower meadow and cow meadow. 15 min of each maybe change it up once a month. It would be awesome!! I have never seen such huge sunflowers. Tiny house looks great.

How lucky was I to have bumped into you both at Edinburgh airport recently! You made my day and were so kind and accommodating to the crazy lady rushing towards Illia. Scary! Hope you didn’t encounter any further delays in getting home. We were lucky in that our flight wasn’t cancelled, just delayed by 2 hours. However, out of our party of 4, I was the only one who went down with Covid🙁. As per usual, your video diaries are a pleasure and delight. Loving the morning meadow and the windows are just fab. Some time in the future this will all be torn apart and the people will say how well you have planned and how well the work you have done is holding up. Please leave something hidden for them to find. These findings will provide a educational opportunity for them and their children as they have been for you and your family. Love, love, love the windows! Excellent work as always. I use to take the sunflower seeds, when I lived at home, boil them in salt water then bake them dry. My brother would sell them at school. They were yummy!

You all should look into a paint spraying system with a compressor to cover those larger areas. Spraying the paint on would get into the pores of those cinderblocks, bricks and mortar better and in less time.

Not sure that much of a gap around the window can be filled by just foam but I'm sure you'll make it work. It is nice to see you actually decorating a room like it's almost finished. 😂😅😊❤

I recommend the Wagner paint spray system for professionals. Given the time and energy and the many areas you still have to paint, this is a sensible investment...

You did a much better job at insulating around the window with the spray foam than those I've seen on other videos!!

finished product looks as it should...if you want a mirror finish it requires sanding sealer and filler then prime sand fill and resand and re prime then paint,,,, it is a process thanks for the videos!
