Z.HUNTER 38 Black flag sucked ass. Literally the best was the brotherhood multiplayer, where you couldn't get incognito back so it forced you to play stealthily. Also there were so guns plus the character models and maps were amazing.
Why does everyone like Brotherhood multiplayer the best? I only played AC4 multiplayer and watch some videos of ACBH multiplayer, they seem to play identically aside from the Maps and characters, I can't say much about abilities and specifics.
Well i was about to pre order the gold edition of it which is $150 AUD but they can get fucked with no MP. I don't think just a campaign will do. SO MAD

I personally have only played AC3 and AC4 and have been in the dark with the series ever since that debacle with Unity (smh). For both of those games, I really did enjoy the multiplayer as it was a very unique experience and I had so much fun with it. Despite this, I also know that the AC series have always been mainly about the SP, which I also enjoyed. And after the backlash from Unity and Syndicate, I think it is best for Ubisoft to first focus on creating a strong SP. After all, Origins is supposed to be the make-or-break game for the future of the series and they need to use all the resources they can get to make this game a success. So for now, I don’t mind them focus on a SP-only game as I love to play SP games anyways. But I still will miss that multiplayer tho. Ah well. I guess I can still go back to pwning dudes in Black Flag. 🤣
I feel like unless there's multiplayer then this should not be a $60 game. I'd play it and then move on. As opposed to multiplayer games that provide days and weeks and months of entertainment. No game that only has a campaign should be more than $40 imo. Which is why I will not be buying it.

If Origins fails then I prescribe AC as dead. It will be the 4th game without Multiplayer (counting from ACB) and the 4th game to hugely fail. Coincidence? Hmmm....

The multiplayer is not a ac game, is simply a beautiful competitive game, but is not ac. Now whit origin we have a game whitout a MP and whitout desilet, is a simply action singleplayer game generic whitout soul.
ssss9725 I disagree. Singleplayer is important indeed, but do you really think Multiplayer isn't? Look at ACU, ACS, AC Rogue etc. and read your statement again. In the years the old AC's were released, MP was relatively new so not that hyped. But now, the most succesful games are the ones who have Multiplayer! Look at COD, Overwatch, or even fucking Minecraft. Do you think these games would stand where they are right now, without Multiplayer? Ubisoft had great potential with its very unique MP, as they had no competition at all. The actual reason ACMP died, is because it didn't get the attention from Ubisoft that it deserved. Due to bad marketing/promotion, people expected the Multiplayer to be similar to the SP, so they gave it a shot. What they got was a totally different experience that didn't suite their expectations, so they were like "yo wtf this is no AC, I'm outta here". If this Multiplayer wouldn't have been under the name "Assassin's Creed", or if it actually got promoted better, it would've been much more succesful. Multiplayer is always a good case. If one element is bad about the game, you can always fall back to another one. The latest AC games were all hated cause the Singleplayer sucked. The game had no other element to lean on, therefore the game is bad, or at least disliked. If this continues, this amazing series will die very soon, even the SP.
Armin00 yes, i think the acmp is the best multiplayer competitive game ever, but is completly different than singleplayer. For this i think acmp is better in standalone(like rocketleague). The singleplayer of new ac game is a shit because from ac3 (in part revelation) the game desing, story and gameplay is wrong because ubisoft fired desilet.( Desilet would make a ac3 whitout the past, only whit desmond.)
Armin00 I hope to see them bring back the multiplayer online mode in the future because I had tons of fun playing ACR, Ac3 and ac4 online mode. But the chance of that happening is really uncertain or I could be wrong.
maybe soon , they will create an assassin’s creed game that’s all about multiplayer. I can say the rpg style of the game was a big change of the franchise and it was a good risk, and maybe they will use this style when playing and the way to have new weapons is to get them fairly, without microtransactions. But I think most of the games today uses that so:3 but yeah, For example, meeting with people in the middle of egypt or maybe inside the pyramid and you can play co-op when meeting the same person who gives quest. it’s my opinion.

I think it is fair to say that they outdid themselves, and surprised many with the single-player experience. I'd argue that this is the best time to bring back multiplayer. If you'd take the ACB MP as a base and rework the reward system with legendary items and outfits in addition to the basic skills and perks, I think it could even enhance the single player experience.
Now that For honor is slowly dying i hope they give us a standalone Assassin's creed multiplayer because essentially The For honor dev team is the same dev team who worked on ACMP.
dove voice Which of the studios worked on ac multiplayer? I only know about Annecy. I think Ubisoft doesn't see any potential in unique and challenging multiplayer games. When For Honour dies out it will probably confirm it for them. There aren't enough people who have the patience and time to master these kind of games these days. I think the masses want a simple game the can jump into and play without much effort. Ultimately ubisoft wants to make money on microtransactions in multiplayer but if no one is willing to pay its just wasted development resource in their minds. Its really sad but I think it will never come back. (sry for the long story lol)
dove voice Hi Dove 😄, well I have to disagree with you. I am a Reputation 17 PeaceKeeper in For Honor (like prestige 78) In AC. So I know how the game works. After every 3 months a new season announce to us. we receive 2 new maps, 2 new characters. we get nerfs and buffs almost every other week. They're too busy with For Honor. No attention given to AC. We now expecting Season 3 in For Honor soon.
I'm glad they aren't handling it like No Man's Sky. Now to wait for this game to go on sale during the next assassin's creed. Thank you for this video.
*PLEASE READ* I really loved unity's idea and features of multiplayer why not both previous types of MP I'd say but really captivate the Templars Vs assassin's like choose a side in a massive server, basically splits into two groups going from rank to dismantle eachother then cover it all up with abstergo running tests to see if Templars won during this period of time and so on like my head's filled with ideas it's crazy man like the other day I was thinking how RB6 sige are constantly changing why not with assassin's creed make your games inside one which gives more uses of maps and all sorts of content if historically accurate-ish or just retry unity but different setting more fixes :') and a story that people can connect and relate too atleast to get a main character to feel a pain that is common today could fuel so much love for a game and it so possible which drives me nuts it's like yh origins was a step in the right direction just don't fuck it up
Haven’t played AC since Brotherhood (which I didn’t finish since they were pumping out way too many games) and technically I played 3 just only multiplayer, and it’s a shame this game doesn’t have it
Oh please Ubisoft knew hardly anyone played AC for the multiplayer so they decided to change it in Unity but that was a unfinished mess when it released and the hole co-op was a mess to in the game. Syndicate was better of without it because they really needed to focus on making the game work on launch and Origins is a basicly a ''reboot'' if you want to call it that so I understand why it wasn't in there. For those who like multiplayer just expect something in the future.
Only about 2-3 million people have logged onto multiplayer on each game on Playstation alone. Sure it's not the most popular multiplayer, but it is a great one nonetheless
Would like to see a Bayek Sequel? He deserves it! Hoping his & Aya story continues in Rome? Their story is UnFinished? Enzio had a Trilogy, Bayek deserves to at least have his story finished from Origins.
Why can they not just add in coop at least. Literally all you have to do is plop in the availability to put friends in a game. They already have servers they can use, and they have locations to do missions in. All they need to put in is an objective. Aside from that, I honestly just loved free roaming in ac unity with my friends and going on little killing sprees. Origins has so much opportunity and such little effort needed but they choose not to do it :(
I personally would like to see coop in the game too but at a good quality level. It would be great to have a great sp, coop and multiplayer all in one game
Blue True Game development really isn't *poof* it's now in. It legit is not. Ubisoft may be big, but that doesn't mean the WHOLE company is working on ACO. They are also working on FC5 and other games. Coop would be fun, but seriously, how would they even do it for Origins? There needs to be a link, which there isn't. He was the only "Assassin" at that exact point in its time.
I like single player over multiplayer assassin's Creed as a single player is always gonna be better in my opinion, I think multiplayer would just muddy the waters.

Using the amount of views this video has, 26,130*59.99 = $1.6M they losing out on. But I guess it's not much considering they sold approximately $60M in copies. It makes sense that they don't care about $1.6M.
C'mon u make it look like there is a huge community standing behind the mp and wanting a new one. This is just ridiculous. If u look at the comments from a website or a video which is not mp focused the general tenor is like: "We don't want a new mp; just focus on the sp now; the mp has always been nice but i don't really need it...." Most of the ppl don't care about the mp. And u are naive if u think im wrong. Im a huge mp fan for myself and i really want a new one as well. But im not that stupid to think that there will ever be a mp as we know it.

They don't love it like we love it and that is a shame bc is means everyone who does enjoy it, doesn't get to play AC multiplayer. There have been two to three million players who have given AC multiplayer a go in each of the past four multiplayers on Playstation. With such a large break between the last multiplayer and a future multiplayer and with a slight restructure to the mp, it can come back strong, may get more people involved in general and have players stick around longer. Yes, there are a large amount of people who just want singleplayer, good for them. A mp adds another element and gets a different crowd in. To not have multiplayer would be a missed opportunity

I only really get the games for the single player, Never cared for the multiplayer mainly because I have bad internet and I don't always have Xbox gold which is required to play multiplayer. I mean if someone likes multiplayer, that's great and all but I personally don't want that to be the main aspect of the game. Like example For Honor and The Division both had single player campaigns so to speak but they both sucked in that regard, Those games are known more for the multiplayer aspect. Again I'm fine with there being multiplayer so long as it doesn't take away from the single player.
Maybe this one doesn't require multiplayer or coop like he said it's a game that wants to deliver the best single player experience they don't want the coop problems to happen with this one
