I honestly can see what Alistair meant with Leliana, she does sometimes have a sad look in her eye. Being betrayed the way she was, by someone she loved must really hurt
As someone who extensively played the first game, I found it pretty jarring when they changed Altair's voice actor in Revelations. I know it sounds more historically accurate; it's just not the voice that was associated with the character for four years at that point. Besides the accent, he sounds much more friendly and light-hearted when he speaks and his dialogue when he's younger comes across much more light as well. Altair was portrayed as a much darker and reckless character in AC1. Perhaps they wanted to draw more parallels between Altair's maturity and Ezio's? They both started off reckless and borderline careless and then eventually learned to be good through the wisdom of age and overcoming tough/traumatic experiences, dealing with loss, etc. This parallel would've remained true without touching Altair's character, but my point is that maybe they wanted to make it closer or more obvious.
I was feeling nostalgic watching some old ac multiplayer videos and came across this, I can't even remember the comment I left lol, oh how things have changed I miss the good old days! It's also funny that looking back at a lot of these ac multiplayer videos they still don't even have a thousand views, but I remember at the time just having a few hundred people watch your video felt like a big deal haha. I think tbf when all of these games were released and at the height of their popularity youtube gaming content wasn't really a thing, especially compared to what its like now, I wonder how different this would be if these games were released nowadays, or even a few years later.
It's the little things like this that add to a video game's memorability and enjoyment. They didn't have to do this, but they did. Combined with the narrator's cool and smooth deep voice; it makes for a relaxing moment in a horror-romance anime puzzle game.
Encore is the best for a KE or any mage build. Chance for life-steal and extra damage is butter for a Andrastes Sacrifice amulet user that not only give you 10% cooldown faster and faster mana regen but give you guard for taunting enemies around you. You are immortal and you'll never stop spamming your abilities till all enemies suffer your wrath.
I like that both Altair and Ezio were heroes on their own way, but like most heroes, they die in humility or ruin, sometimes not understanded by their pairs.
I was actually almost crying when Maria died in Altairs hands. Funny enough, “Bloodlines” was the actual first AC game I played so Maria and Altair pair had a kind of sentimental value to me. And I just imagined Altairs pain: his youngest son is dead, his best friend was killed, his whole Order was taken over and now his own wife, love of his life, dies in his own hands.
I remember after he said he killed Altair son after lying him, and then killed Maria, I killed all of them slowly 😭 not a single man was alive when i left.
Who could hate Altair he went from a kid who was arrogant to a wise man who changed the assassins forever without him the assassin's would be more evil corrupt misled and ezio would not be the person we knew him to be
The thing about beer bellies isn't true. With the way alcohol is metabolized, it goes straight to being visceral fat, which usually accumulates around the gut. Contrast with subcutaneous fat, which is more evenly distributed. People get beer bellies specifically **because** of the alcohol. You'll notice some heavy drinkers will have a noticeable beer belly, but not seem too fat on the rest of their body.
Based on pure story telling this was my absolute favorite assassins creed game, the synergy between altair - ezio - desmond, was just so well done. And it felt like a dream when I visited istanbul myself, I really hope one day ubisoft will find back to its roots.
