Disney Springs is like a huge shopping area. There are so many things to do at the hotels and Fort Wilderness that you can use up many days without visiting the parks. There are also two water parks they are huge and have areas for children, not included in park tickets. I love Disney and have been there many times,, never enough. I am happy that your family had so much fun.

Disney springs is totally free is mostly shops and restaurants. I think the kids would get a kick out of the rainforest cafe. 😊

Fort Wilderness has always been awesome. Stayed there for 1 week when we came down to Florida on a family vacation in 1992. We stayed in one of the cabins there. It was awesome! Best place to stay for a family

Tell Bear the light was Yellow!! Lolol My first hubby and I had our honeymoon there in 1979, and then decided to buy Disney Vacation Club. Of course, we lived in Florida and we went 6 to 10 times a year. And every anniversary was didn't at Disney. The last time we used it we had our 3 grown kids, 8 of our 12 grandchildren. I'm thankful for the memories he passed away in 2014. I went with one of my daughters and it was too hard. So I sold my DVC shares and have great memories!!

You can take the kids bass fishing there. We did that with our girls when they were young, it got them into loving fishing!

I love Fort wilderness! Out of all the places my family has stayed in an RV in florida, I'd sat it's the best! Kid friendly, lots of stuff to do at the camp grounds all year long, and the sites are clean!

Disney Springs is free. It’s restaurants, shops, Lego shop with play area. nice walking path. movie theatre. cirque du soleil. bowling alley. music. random shows or performances

We have a class A and have been do Disney Fort wilderness. We are from Florida and have been there many times. Next time you go, ask for a premium site. It is for large RV's.

Omg. Please do not be going to Fort gordon. We just left there. Horrible housing. But on the flip side of the housing issues. The town is pretty nice. Sweet downtown date places. The Riverwalk is amazing. You'll have to find the beauty there.

You guys need a travel agent next time! Free for you to use (usually, some charge a small planning fee as what we do can be so time intensive) and we know so much and if we dont know we know where to find the info. Hit me up!

Georgia has The Lttle Grand Canyon, good for hiking. Also has a Great Wolf Lodge ( indoor water park) . Disney Springs is shopping, has the dine in AMC theater, bowling, places to eat. Sometimes there are outdoor concerts. Legoland is south of Orlando, your kids would like that. Dinoworld is on the way to Tampa, about and hour east of Clermont, that is good for a few hours and your kids are the right ages. Tampa has a nice aquarium and it has an outdoor splash pad, but the traffic in Tampa is bad.
