The second I saw this video I knew she was having a mental breakdown and I felt for her. Not only did she have a public psychosis episode but it was recorded and broadcast to millions. And now she’s a living meme because of it. Sad, I feel for her

It's actually crazy how severely the internet has desensitized us to the point where we no longer have the common sense to realize that doxing a person's entire life is NOT okay. I'm not even mad that the recording was taken in the first place. As unfortunate as the situation is and how much I feel for this woman, since recording "public freakouts" is so commonplace, the virality was to be expected, but at least it would've been guaranteed to fall from relevancy just as fast, and she would've had a chance to maintain her privacy and normalities. But instead, this dumbass thought that exposes her entire life wouldn't be a problem. At the end of the day, people are witchunters, and it's fair to assume her identity would come out eventually. What a great community H3 has. Glad to see so many compassionate people in the comments. It made me sad when people were acting like she was a karen or making fun of her. She clearly was having some kind of mental health struggle. She seems absolutely terrified, you can see it on her face and hear it in her voice, and she didn't even care about her stuff, she just felt that she needed to get off that plane! If you're empathetic, you can almost feel the absolute terror and panic in her voice. I understand people on board felt inconvenienced, but health issues are never convenient, and a little compassion goes a long way. I feel so bad for her, and I really hope Dylan faces consequences. Since Dylan gets so many views, he must've made money off the video exploiting her mental health crisis, which makes it even more f'd up.

I want to say it was Vice that did a great piece on a woman and her dealing with her psychological issues that resulted in (maybe) Heathrow being shut down and her sectioning for months. An airplane is not a public space in the same sense as a public street or plaza. An airplane is private as it is the property of an airline and thus you are liable to the rules and policies of the airline. Most airlines have guidelines on filming. On Aer Lingus and Lufthansa they state you can take photos or videos of yourself and people you are travelling with during the flight, but it is prohibited to take photos of crew, procedures and other passengers without consent as that infringes EU privacy rights. For example, in Germany even if you are in a public space you cannot take pictures of people just because they are in a public space, you must have consent. Under German law, you can only take pictures of people if they are indiscernible to the overall shot, like stock photos or taking photos of tourist areas where there are a lot of people in the background. That being said enforcement of those rules on airliners is loose and difficult to manage for crew members.

Think of it this way, while the original author of the article may have had 1,000 views (random number don’t actually know), he put it in a video to 5.1 MILLION views. She could go after the original author for Doxxing her and go after him for opening up the doors to the masses.

I genuinely feel bad for her. I had done something fucking horrific in my broken state to an ex-friend on an online game. As a result, I had people online use that as an excuse to doxx me, my family and my workplace back in 2017. I had to move out, change my phone number and live like everyone was out to get me - still stresses 6 years later. Tiffany seemed stressed/overwhelmed with the situation - I get people recording it from the absurdity of the situation but to dox her?! Come on... That's so low. Most I'd expect people to do with their curiosity is find out her first name, thats it.

This was extremely hard to watch. I had a girlfriend who had a mental break and ran out in the middle of the night. I spent hours looking for her and when I founded her she refused to believe that I was actually me or the the car I was driving was our car. I can not describe how hard it is to see the person you love look at you like you’re some kind of stranger or clone of yourself. I could not imagine what it would have been like if someone recorded everything and completely doxed her. Sometimes people just need help, understanding, and patience

Episodes are very real. I have severe anxiety and thought because I exeprienced no symptoms after taking non narcotic meds and working out. Then my grandmother died a fdw days ago, had a check up and the lap person thought i was having a heart attack my blood pressure was so high. 13:58 you’re able to record in any space public or private if you suspect an ongoing crime to be occurring- (on a plane recording someone disrupting the peace / cause an altercation is reasonable enough to warrant people to record what’s happening) it’s used not only as evidence and insurance aid but it’s used as a way to say I was standing in this exact spot away from the area not involved as seen by the recording on my property in my possession time stamped dated and you can see the landscape/event/room where the cameraman was too far away to interact with xyz. It’s an alibi when eye witness testimony can be skewed and when there’s 200+ people panicking there’s gonna be confusion or a lot of research into where people were seated how they moved around and guess work rather then ‘pull up the clip let’s watch exactly what happened’ If you’re invited into an event/location/building/transportation method etc there’s going to be installed cameras, personal phones and photography, and other options unless there’s a sign on a private estate saying : no photography no flash photography, you should be able to film aspects of walking around. (If you are in possession of a camera item and they allow you to walk inside with it - they may not let you in with a full camera crew but store private buisness/ even company building can’t really stop you from using your phone to do things like take selfies of yourself or take pictures of things you’ve purchased etc. you can’t record others on your device you can record yourself. You can’t disrupt others by shouting and yelling and filming like your a 2000s prank video but you can quietly and respectfully fix your hair with your camera smile take a photo and send it to someone or upload it.) In cases of emergency or cases of active crime anyone is allowed to record doesn’t matter if it’s a worker recording a boss, boss recording a worker on cctv, citizen filming workers or filming bosses or vice versa - you can’t use the videos for blackmail or for harming any of those individuals but you can take the info and turn it into the police- you also can not cause entrapment or instigations in order to get the stuff occurring on film it has to be more of a ‘caught the moment on film by surprise because I was filming and having a good day not expecting sudden crime’ also you can’t be a vigilante or a creep or a peeper a honey trap or a set up when filming that’s intentionally putting yourself in danger or intentionally committing crimes to record others committing crimes People on planes also record things like flight attendant funny videos for pr or take photos of the city scapes clouds sunsets sunrises and fireworks - filming in a plane when it may be a once in a life time experience is usually completely understood.

No one has a "right" to invade this woman's life, and no one really has a right to profit from this dark moment she experienced. She is the vulnerable person in this experience and she should have the legal ability to strike down any video displaying what happened in the same way corporations can with their intellectual property. this would make it possible for her to sue any platform participating in this sick bloodsport of social harassment.
