We all do, but I guess there's more people who want multiplayer modes to slowly be added over two years??? Yeahhhh, sure 343. They have no idea how much money they're losing by not making campaign-centered content, I swear.
Another issue with the store (which you didn't seem to mention) is that they've gone back to the system of having NO way to earn Credits in game so - once players spend the last of their credits from the last full Battle Pass - it's straight back to their wallets for store content. Whether it's Microsoft's or 343's idea, WTF?!
Yeah but, it was only ever 1000 credits. So you could only ever earn back what you spent on the BP. So if you ever spent them anything in the store, you would have to buy more. Sooo...
343 has been trying to catch up with the fans and community lately, and you can see they've been trying their best, especially listening to ideas. When it comes to corporate greed? I'm blaming Microdick- I mean Microsoft on this one
Man, y'all can criticize their bad moves with the shop and still realize that this is a video game and if people are choosing to buy skins instead of food and pay their electric bills, that's a separate issue.
@@fadedgeff the campaign was $60, they let those people go because they have bad business practices and they made $8M and 2M in revenue. The company chose to lay those people off and hide things behind a pay wall. The game didn't even come out finished. It took YEARS for it to come out bit by bit. no more pity for 343, they are a company that tripped game after game, they are not some children who have no idea what they're doing and how their decisions to fire people effect their lives and their final products.
@@fadedgeffdamn, didn't realise that over 5400 employees from other companies were helping 343i on this game. Maybe if you deepthroat them a little harder they'll give you a smiley face sticker.
"Gimmicky live-service game that has its aesthetics watered down by microtransactions", is actually a perfectly apt description of Halo Infinite's multiplayer itself. 👍
Destiny 2 is also moving to the same model of short, more frequent rollouts of Chapters or Acts. Which makes sense why Infinite is price gouging the last people still playing. They're going to roll out a model like Destiny 2 where campaign and multiplayer is rolled out in short seasons. So people will have to pay less money, but it'll be more often. 88% of the gear being in the shop is going to be the standard going forward. My friends have already all bailed and this is definitely my exit. 07
@@xcfjdyrkdtulkgfilhu You could buy Fallout New Vegas or Bioshock at 20$ but that amount of cash won't be good enough for more than a few cosmetic pieces in this game. Either way we already got confirmation that they're already "done" with this game and are working on the next one. I don't see the point in even playing this thing anymore. 10 years my tail section.
@@xcfjdyrkdtulkgfilhuFor real we need to stop using the term micro transactions. I remember back when entire map packs and DLC would cost $10 - $15. And skins would and cosmetics would cost $1-$3. And even back then we thought it was all an absurd scam. But now folks will shill out $20 for a single skin. What a joke.
They really just split the battle pass to sell it in the shop, decided to withhold all gameplay elements, and thought they could market that shit as a content update.
As soon as I logged on and saw that the BP was "free" I knew what was happening. Shame on me for thinking they wouldn't clearly make a money grab out of something that is obviously nostalgic to fans.
@@nickm5419 of course. How silly of me to expect a complete, narratively fleshed out single player experience from Halo. After all, Halo has always been about multiplayer, battle passes, and in game shops
Absolutely agree with you on being sick of multiplayer. I just want campaign content too. They always leave shit half finished. We never got a conclusion to Halo Wars 2, Awakening the Nightmare, and now Halo Infinite. Regularly released campaign dlc would have me coming back.
ya cause theyre so clueless and cant stick to sa story cause theyre so scared it wont please the fans so instead we get a bunch of hallowed out stories that could have probably been good
What do you expect the studios name is 343 As in the monitor that failed over and over and is constantly seeking redemption For his ring, to the master Chief then betrays him, then tried to redeem himself to humanity on a starship somewhere. They’re a studio that will always be stuck having to seek redemption.
I honestly don’t understand the demand for more story stuff. The campaign was so hollow and emotionally key-jangling, it made me sick. Its like 343 was trying to turn Halo into a Sony Exclusive movie game. Not to mention anything interesting happened off screen, Cortana sudden change in morality (even though shes still a monster), having Chief break his promise to her from 3, The Endless, Fernando, etc. 343 can’t write a good script to save their lives. The writing quality is on par with that Halo TV show, but at least 343 has Chief helmet stay on (though I bet you theyve wanted to take it off).
NGL, that'd be too funny. The cutting edge Infinity lost in the battle, but it's the old pre-war Spirit of Fire that saved the universe. Next minute, the UNSC bring the Phoenix class out of retirement and make them a staple in their navy like they did with the Autumn. xD
@@westenev as a writer, it could work and actually be badass if written properly. HOWEVER. 343i has demonstrated they do not have any decent writers on their team 🤦🏻♂️
@@TheKillamanJoe I honestly don't think writing was the issue. I thought, from a story perspective, 4 was decent. I could see where 5 was going, even if I wasn't 100% on board, and the community lead up to the game was amazing. Infinite I could probably attribute to executive meddling, which probably pile dived every aspect of the game into the ground.
@@westenev 5 wasn't going anywhere, they decided to undo the death of a beloved character only for all of the content of their acts being told to us off screen or quickly spoken though in cut-scenes
@@Pearg0ld I think 5 relied too heavily on spectacles, but I think if Halo Infinite was better and didn't skip the storyline, 5 would probably be remembered fondly like Halo 2.
@@jakespacepiratee3740 Idk, the singleplayer was really eh for me. Chief was perfect but everything surrounding him..? Hell the fact they killed Atriox off-screen was such a miss for me.
how did so many FPS game makers forget how that simple little "level up" drove player engagement? I still get a little joy from the original MW2 level up guitar riff. Halo has always had similar systems to level up and unlock armor. As it is they tried to chase the BP trend to drive engagement and increase profits. It may have worked in the short term but the damage that infinite has done to the player experiance (and player expectations) for the next title is absolutely depressing. If the store had a "sale" page that rotated items in and out for 15-50% off (daily or weekly) and then the entire content library of individual items was available at all times at "normal" price. that would be an improvement. And if they gave you some ammount of currency every level up so that you could unlock that "perfect" armor combination for you. if those 2 things existed i would still be playing halo infinite. But as it is I am not expecting to ever come back. I have no want to "play" a game that only sees me as a cash flow number.
Are multiple "projects" really the right move? One of the biggest limiting factors and downfalls of infinite was poor resource allocation (temporary contractors, technical debt etc). Surely picking one big project with a dedicated, full-time team and consistent vision would be the right move?
"Projects" is a term that comes with zero specificity, so a project could be anything from a new game to a port of a game to an update for a game to another Fortnite collaboration. Saying several projects could be true on that technicality and thus could've been said how it was purely as PR to try make people more hopeful. Alongside that, from what I remember they didn't ever specifically say "we have several teams *within 343* working on new projects" so some of these could be handled by other Xbox studios working alongside 343i which is what I'd assume given how understaffed 343i has been. If there are several games in development, having them all made by 343i after the layoffs and general staff attrition they've gone through would be a very poor decision given they only recently started actually hiring again. I'd expect they'd be at the latter end of pre-production on just one game at best. If I were a betting man I'd put money on some projects being smaller things worked on by parts of 343i while pre-production on the next game is worked on by the rest of the studio, with any other potential projects larger in scope being outsourced the same way HCEA or the MCC initially were to studios like Certain Affinity and Saber Interactive.
You'd have thought they'd learned their lesson trying to juggle two storylines at once with Infinite (the shoddily conceived multiplayer story made with resources that should have been focused on continuing and finishing the campaign). 343 is as 343 does...
I have been wanting to play as a white Halo Wars Spartan with a green visor for a decade at this point. Super stoked I can finally play as a Halo Wars Spartan in Infinite, it's a freaking wet dream - but we still don't even have a Cadet White coating lol. Had to spend my credits on the Void Ultra coating instead of the Reckoning battlepass.
Friendly reminder, Halo 4's Champions bundle had 4 full sets of completely interchangeable armor (25 pieces total) including Mark V and ODST, weapon skins and player stances for less than $10
So many people hate on 4 while in fact it still retained the same full fledged customization and progression that invested so many millions into 3/Reach. And also let's remember... gone but not forgotten.... F***ING CUSTOMIZABLE EMBLEMS AND ARMOR COLORS
I’m just happy that CU29 doesn’t mean see you in 2029. Also, just finished Contact Harvest. And I totally see why it’s rated to high. Simply goated. Time for Cole Protocol
Is that confirmed? Are we certain this isn't a hint that the next mainline Halo game with Chief won't be until 2029, even if we have spinoff games like ODST2 or HW3 before then
I doubt it. They usually outsource (Idk if that’s the right word) comics and books to other writers and companies who manage that medium. They do give them a sorta list or restriction on what they’re writing about, but they have creative liberties with it. I think it’s 2 games, but Idk what they could be considering it’s too early to say. It’s possible one is a joint collaboration between 343 and Certain Affinity. Either way I don’t think these games will be launching at the same time. A reputable Xbox leaker had 1 Halo game listed for September this year. Granted there was a whole bunch of games listed by this person
I don't think so. The context was in regards to their development teams, not licensing out to writers which they've been consistently doing since the beginning of Halo. I think if anything it's a new standalone campaign that's likely in early stages and then a standalone mp or something new that's in development with CA.
I never thought id miss the req packs but at least you could get all the armor without spending money, granted it was a long grind that i gave up on but its still better
I am now confident we will never get a basic white coating before they outright drop support for infinite. So much for "More color options" thanks to the coasting system...
“I won’t be turning on the camera today cuz I have a medical issue of sorts” I’m just imagining that he developed Sangheili mandibles and has to find a way to get his human mouth back
Mannnnn, this was severely over hyped... The Halo insta account made this seem like it was going to be a glorious come back, and then they give us this. Feels like a huge slap in the face.
I know this isn’t something needed but since we have all of these different armor customizations, I think it would be cool to add a “Randomize” button for each core that would give you a random custom Spartan. It can honestly be overwhelming at times lol
What's frustrating about this is that this is clearly a 50 tier Battle Pass that they broke out into store items and the Operation is bare bones as hell with almost entirely filler items, and now no way to accumulate credits. And on top of this since you cant use Double XP if all of your battle passes are completed so this slows the grind to Hero rank too. This was a very swift blow that killed all of the momentum they had going after the last two seasons and just makes me continue to not trust 343.
This was my big worry when they decided to abandon seasons or battle passes. I think it would have been better if the free passes were bumped up to 25 or 30 tiers and you fill those extra tiers with one of the store bundles. There’s just too much filler in the current passes and it makes a 20 tier pass feel like a 5 tier pass.
Really missed opportunity not having a cut scene with the spirit of fire riding its way to zeta halo. It would have been a great bridge to future halo projects. It would be great to have Jerome and chief in the same game.
Good ol 343. Have a chance to release something at least good for us as this is basically it for infinite, and what do they do? They do what 343 does best, fuck it up, put most of it in that shitty ass store, and have us having to pay not play to earn to get it. Im so done with 343 and Microsoft. For the love of god, make halo independent and no longer an exclusive and have some studio that will actually handle it properly.
@@sketchywav7741 Same. I thought infinite had a good balance at the start. It was a fair battle pass system for a reasonable price at first, in my opinion. But I was thinking this is just 2 steps away from being a predatory. Then it took those steps. the battle pass obviously has the generic gear and the good stuff is paywalled. And of course you can't just buy the 1 helmet or 1 visor color you want; you gotta buy an $18 bundle filled with junk. Infinite is dying and they're gonna squeeze every dollar out that they can. 343 crossed that line where I won't buy their games anymore because I refuse to support this type of predatory practice. There's lots of other people that refuse also. It's not enough to stop companies 90% of the time but ,shit, what else can we do?
The Spirit of Fire name for the update with the Zeta Halo welcome screen make me think that at some point the Spirit of Fire was going to show up at Zeta Halo... and we only got this store update
In addition to being a weird name for an update, Cu-29 is also the atomic symbol and number for copper. Probably a coincidence but just thought I'd point that out.
Hate to sound like a boomer but I miss the old days where you just play the game to unlock cool stuff instead of having to buy it. I think everything should be unlockable, but you can have the option to buy it so they still make money and the people who want to grind for something get to do that
I've seen this said loads of times. Yeah, saving your armour would be cool, but that's just not what cores ever would have been. It's like you're mixing 2 different ideas. "I don't think armour cores were a good idea" and, "Saving armour configs would be cool" work better when distinct imo. Or, am I misunderstanding what you mean?
No I love cores, they're allowing us to create way more differentiated Spartans than ever before. The problem was the lack of cross core severely limiting that. But that is now 95% fixed.
People are starting to get hype about a new game but this is still 343 we're talking about. Yes, they've done some good recently, but can we really trust them to release the new game properly?
Kiki is still at 343. She has absolutely nothing to do with Halo games and almost never has . Im pretty sure her job is essentially transmedia projects so Halo TV , Books etc @@RedCommunistDragon
@@Connor8609 No she’s not, bud. She left in 2023. If her involvement was only the TV show and not the games what was she doing for the past 15 years? I know the show was announced back in 2013 (in believe), but surely she wasn’t just working on the TV show.
If there’s one thing I think the update is missing, it’s a coatings to give us Red Teams color scheme (especially the man, the myth, the legend, Jerome 092)
Seriously, the only thing I'd like to know from Infinite is who or what are the Endless. And I really hope they don't just forget about it in the next game
@Opernineryea as much as I like to see another odst game 343 can't be trusted and Microsoft sticking its hands where it shouldn't makes me ok with having just one odst game luckily hw2 was a banger since 343 had nothing to do with it
Once I finish the current Pass, I'm probably going to dedicate myself fully to Forge and try to make the Covenant/Banished ship map I've thought about making since Reach got added to MCC at the end of 2019 (or at the latest, when the Forge update came) but never got around to due to a lack of time or skill...
I logged into the game excited to play in months, saw that the rifle skin cost money and all the good cosmetics are in the store, gauged my time vs reward then logged out almost immediately
Good news is that with only 500 credits you can get the only two things worth using in this update: the default Mark IV core and the MA5B. Never touching anything from the store. NEVER
The best thing to come out of a new Halo game in the modern times would be a COMPLETE RETCON of all the books and games and other media that has come out under 343i and remake Halo 4 with a new story as well as going back to the classic linear level design that is still very open like a lot of the Halo 1 levels and move away from open world sort of stuff.
4:30 Someone was told to make a HALO title screen... and they nailed it. 100% They get the assignment. Whatever lacky whipped up that art piece, move them up. No joke, you can just tell they understand Halo. It's the little things that make Halo, Halo.
343: Yes....yes..... Halo fans look *click* at the beautiful *click* menu screen *racks shotgun* it'll all be okay soon. (Essentially CU29 in a nutshell)
Them making you pay $5 for the MA5 in a supposedly free operation is so scummy. That and the shop legit turned me off from buying anything in this game
its depressing i dont even play halo infinite that much but wanted to check mk 4 out, checked the battle pass and was like 'thats it?????' checked the store and knew there would be riots in the streets lmao
I'd like to see something similar to the "gag" Halo 4 Spartan Ops but more like Halo Wars 2 missions from a FPS perspective. Each mission has a distinct feel and purpose that pushes the narrative and is meant to be played either single player or co-op where you play as your Spartan. Going on missions around the Ring to fight the covenant, on offensive, defensive, salvage, search and rescue missions. Ranging from smaller covert missions with just you and a small team, minor skirmish with some ally marines and limited vehicles all the way to full blown open warfare with tanks, pelicans, scarabs, etc. Something similar to (most) of Halo Reach, where you're just a soldier fighting to keep humanity alive for one more day.
You know, I could've sworn that a year or so ago they decided to go with "Drop Pods" for updates in between seasons. What happened to that? "Drop Pod 29" is just as easy and so much better
It would be nice if all core would have their own sound and visual effect for the shield recharge and damage taken, to represent each era of were the armor come from
CU29 is probably "See You 2029" which will be their next title la7nch, which is funny because the world as we know it wont exist by then and neither will it.
23:51 Ayy bro I felt the same way, the content recently has been really great and I honestly find myself getting giddy whenever there’s a new upload in my notification feed 😅. I’m really damn happy for you bro, keep it up 👊
Back in my day, we had to beat Halo on every difficulty, collect all the skulls, play and get good online, get a few friends together to take on some extra challenges, then pray and hope that maybe, MAYBE, Bungie would give us a new set of armor
The weapon models should have been “variants” like with halo 5 so the weapon sandbox is bigger and more diverse because the best part of halo 5 was the weapon sandbox
100% agree. We need a huge sandbox update or overhaul or something. The game is fun but with nothing new to spice up the gameplay, I do find it getting kinda stale since we’ve been playing with it for over 2 years now
@@emperorfridgethedude wth? oh you're probably just making a joke about 343 being incompetent, but in case you aren't, there are already two variants of the bandit in game.
I badly miss Bot Bootcamp... i really do, so many games i get into are just try harding players, or my team are just horrible. i want to go against bots again so i can just chill
something core to halo that was lost in infinite I feel is those friend to friend moments where they asking you how you got that helmet and you say you got like 200 kills with the sniper for 100m and then they set that goal for themself cause they want that helmet, now it's just "how'd you get that helmet?" "the shop" how'd you get that chestpiece?" "battlepass" "how'd you get that 2 inch charm that nobody can see?" "spent 5 hours grinding for it in the event playlist that I hate" theres no soul to it anymore, no fun interactions with your friends or just other players. sure some of the armor looks really cool but to me that doesn't mean a damn thing if how you get that armor is soulless and frankly predatory
Also thought we don't have cross-core-everything right now. Halo infinite has gone from the halo with the worst customisation to the Halo with the best customisation in the franchise. EDIT: And like you say. It's all because of a feature that should have been there already.
Screw MP. Tired of it. It's been the main focus of Halo since 2015. Make a fully developed 30+ hour Hako campaign. Legit. Tired of them shoving MP and esports down our throats
I've been a huge defender of Infinite, because I truly believe the gameplay is some of the best in the series. It didn't launch great, and for a year the updates were painfully slow. But I feel like they had just gotten to a place where things were looking much better, and then they cancelled seasons. I believe the store was "acceptable" (a necessary evil, but easy enough to ignore) given how good of a deal seasonal battlepasses were, and the promise you would get 5+ new sets of armor every season essentially for free in the battlepass by earning credits back, as well as 2-3 maps for free. But now that's gone. You can tell they took many of the armors that were meant to be in the season 6 battlepass and moved them to the store. It sucks because the Mark IV core is absolutely gorgeous and some of the best armor designs I've seen in the entire franchise. I wish the operations passes would have at least one more set of armor in them, that would feel more fair. I can't help but feel let down and betrayed by the decisions they made with this content update. There really isn't a lot of "content" in it either, besides the store. THAT'S the main issue. I wouldn't even care about store cosmetics so much if they actually were adding gameplay content to the game instead of just one map.
it really makes me wish they had some kind of custom armour kit saving for each core as there are many options that i want to use but having to remember and switch around pieces can be troublesome/annoying.
It’s somewhat absurd that it took them 3 years to make shoulder armor cross core, considering that most armor pieces don’t even connect to the armor, they just awkwardly float near the model. (The shoulders look especially off compared to the bungie games and even to halo 4/5)
I didn't play 4 but hopped back on with Infinite, and then left 2 months post launch due to lack of content and broken BTB. Came back for the coop campaign like almost a year later, then left right after cause the game was still bad.
That MK V armor core bundle really got 343's hopes up for making bank on selling nostalgic armor sets. Let's go back to paying full price for the game and then unlocking armor through merit and not money
It's so admirable that HiddenXperia has literally ANY hope left for 343 to make a good halo game. They've had their 45+ chances and they've made it clear they arent competent.
The free version of the pass, you have ~a month to complete before it expires. It effectively only takes maybe 4-5 evenings of grinding to finish it, so this is no problem. Pay $5, you get the AR model and the pass never expires. Pay $20, you get the AR and everything in the pass without having to play to unlock it. Personally, I don't think it's even worth $5, but that's the best value anywhere in the shop this update.
Huh…CU29 makes sense to me because they’re saying, “See you in 2029.” It’s probably when they want to have the next Halo game out. I’m fine with the wait, tbh. The blue tint was so beautiful and I always loved it. It gave the game an ethereal feeling like no other game 💙
Mark V being an armor core for 20$ and Mark IV being cross core compatible for free is fucking wild. On top of that, fuck all of the lore for Mark IV by making “MoRe PrOtoTypE MjOlNiR” for a suit thats 3 decades old in a game both canonically and realistically in the future. Like wtf.
I'm going to say something that I know people will disagree with but a fusion of both paywall and unlockable cosmetics would make it work immensely. We almost had this with Halo 5 where a lot of armour was behind Gold Packs but there were a few that were unlockable like Helioskrill, Achilles, and a few other singular pieces. The problem that existed was that the fusion was not balanced enough to fit both audiences. I would much rather a game with 60% paywall and 40% unlockable or even 50/50
As someone who plays the game alot it feels like people are perhaps too focused on cosmetics. I feel like this is how live service games usually are, isn't this how games like fortnite work? I just kind of ignore the shop and wait for things like new maps which are always free.
i dont know how much hopium i have left.. even if theres multiple new halo things if its at the quality level of the TV show idc about it. at this point i dunno if something mid can get me back. i need something good from them
My friend and I logged on to halo infinite for the first time in forever, and saw the Mk IV. We were so excited and we wanted Omega Teams armor, until we learned it was a microtransaction
As much as I agree with camo and overshield powerups looking incredible, I prefer the H5 and Infinite's way of activating them, portable and more effective use since one chooses when to activate them, that can also backfire if held for too long
HiddenXperia; please read this. Also any of my fellow gamers. I speak this because of my care for you all and the community we've built. Not out of arrogant hatred, but desire to help guide us to a greener place. For the worlds we love are dying...this is why: The reason why MK.4 looks so good is because theyve practiced making the model over 2 games. All they had to do was make it HD for Halo infinite. Idk why im not surprised at peoples astonished reaction to the shitty changes being made again. Heres the rule of being a corporate business: You cant make games without money. And you cant make money without games. You either saturate the games with store items to make the game FTP. Or you make a game every year and fill it with earnable things and DLC like CoD. No company is going to care about you or the game. Their end goal is always profit. Whether you like it or not, they could give less of a shit about your feelings being hurt. They have a business to run and people to pay, in a dying economy focused solely on gains. Gaming should have never become popular, it should have stayed a useless passtime nerds did for fun. The moment it stopped doing that, it became the same thing as clothing lines and brand name products. You seriously cant look at the world around you and understand that fact. If it upsets you so badly, stop gaming. Because you're going to be disappointed every single time. The only ones that make beautiful works of art are the small studios and niche catagories nobody pays attention to. As soon as more people attract to it and it becomes popular, there grows a higher demand. Thats what kills its soul. You cannot save the overencumbered. They are destined to collapse and become hollow of all meaning they once had, chasing a way to fill the everystaying void that was birthed in its death. Sports used to be a pass time for hillbillies and beer drinking dads. Now its a global phenomena that even foreigners started tuning into. Theres people in Britain that know about the Detroit lions. When it became popular what happened? Gift shops, clothing lines, and even gambling apps focused on stealing your money rooting for a single player in a game focused on teamwork and skill. Like youre watching real life esports and anything can change. When the only change is trading players like Pokemon cards that tips the table a tiny bit. This is 2024, the age of death. Every empire is destroying itself or already close to being dead. You cannot seriously look at 343 any different when all theyve done is get worse year by year, falling back on promises, and proving theyre the same people that made halo 4 and halo 5. You dont find it ironic they did better at an RTS topside tabletop-like game called Halo Wars, but suck at making the original style we all loved? Time changes things for the worse. You dont grow older and become more beautiful; you grow older and decay. That is the reality of all things. So, please HiddenExperia, save yourself from disappointment and try to find a new light to follow. I know you love Halo, we all do, but begging on your knees and voicing an opinion was killed with the modern woke bullshit. Nobody wants to listen anymore, they all have their own agenda. I fear for everyone's health as we grow more stressed and depressed over something that will never change for the better. Fromsoft made beautiful games I could play over and over and over. Stories that run so deep I needed to play it again to get it. These days, after Elden Ring became the best RPG of the year, and everyone started playing acting like lifelong fans, they are even showing signs of this decay. Because the demand grew much larger, the dream got too big. A star cannot grow bigger without eventually collapsing on itself and consuming everything around it as a black hole. This is the reality of life, of stories, of ourselves. Nothing beautiful lasts forever. And holding onto that only brings heartbreak. When family dies, you have to move on with them in your heart, for they no longer will be alive. And holding onto them as if they are still there is denial that leads to a daily reality that they are gone, and it hurts every time. You must let go of the dead and dying, because it will never let go of you.
I get why the Stanchion was just a skin, it wouldn't fit in Infinite's gameplay because it would have to be a one hit KO weapon but it's a sniper, it would be way too op. Maybe in a game with lots of vehicle variety, more wide open maps and other weapons with similar power levels like the railgun, fuel rod canon, gauss turrets, Spartan laser, etc. But in the current game, I don't see a place for it.
Honestly this entire update REEKS of corporate intervention, like, I could understand 343 holding off a good portion of the MK4 stuff for a later update, but releasing almost ALL of it as store items knowing full well the community would be pissed about it after working for like 2 years to make people have a reason to play the game makes absolutely NO sense for them to do. I 100% feel like Microsoft saw people coming back into the game and were like “Ah okay we can make them buy shit again”
Seeing how far Halo has fallen since Bungie's departure is depressing enough but to grow up with the franchise and watch it be stripped of what made it so memorable and great as a series is gut wrenching
MCC makes me wish they added back items. Like maybe packs, swords or ghillie suits. Personally in terms of gameplay I wish they had more PvE with groups of 4-16 players lobbies. The custom games somewhat offer this and I love it.
After grinding the first few seasons of Infinite, nothing has really gotten me back into it. I’d love to just want to play this game again, but I’m not expecting it.
This is honestly depressing no new auditions to the sandbox instead they're skins like why couldn't they made the Stanchion it's own weapon? Bruh, it's not a Sniper but a frickin Gauss Sniper
