Slipknot is my therapy. Without this band I really don't see how I could make it through life. Even on your worst day metal will help you through. Believe it.
They always seemed to drop an album close to a relationship ending lol. I can’t tell you how much it helped. I always healed stronger. Listening to them now sometimes sparks tiny memories and/or pain that I would have otherwise forgotten which helps me to feel more alive in the present. We are truly blessed to get to be Maggots, as odd as that sounds.
Imagine, Slipknot, live on stage, loud as hell, singing this to 100,000 screaming, headbanging fans. Corey controls the crowd like no one I have ever seen. If you get the chance, go see them!
@@1insanedad The last time I saw them was in Columbus, Ohio a few years back. What us old timers call Rock on the Range. They tore the stadium down man! I get chills thinking about it! Corey is so under rated as a talent in the industry.
I have seen Slipknot 10+ times since 2004 at least 7 times in the pit the energy is INSANE. I’ll continue the rabbit hole with some choice songs. “The Blister Exists” “Vermilion” “Disasterpiece” “People=Shit” “Spit it Out (studio version)”
I'm telling you something: The media and enraged parents always scream that ego-shooter's and metal are the reason's people go onto killing spree's and make them into school shooters... If it wasn't for these type of games and music I would go insane. They are my therapy. :D
ikr. A VERRRRRY common misconception is that the only people that listen to this head banging awesomeness is depressed dark goth 15 year olds. Heck no. This stuff is absolutely amazing! Same with foo fighters. 2 great bands
Love how intensely you guys watch those videos Great reaction again Killswitch Engage (i am broken too)(always) the ghost inside(aftermath) Those tunes will bring the feels
Much love from the home state of Slipknot. They finally are getting recognized by the state. They FINALLY got to play the Iowa State Fair in thier home town of Des Moines. We (the people) love our home town heros. I listen to mostly rap and r&b, but I've seen Slipknot 4 times in Iowa. A transcending experience to say the least.
Another great reaction by you guys you know if I'm having a bad day you guys always with your positive positive outlook with things just make it better keep it up you guys are awesome 🤘🤘
Gotta do Nero Forte, Solway Firth, Orphan and critical darling off the rest of that album. It's their most recent from 2019. I went to their tour KNOTFEST ROADSHOW in Camden NJ and it was absolutely sic. Saw them also back in 2012 at the same place at the mayhem festival. Also saw lemmy before he died and slayer for the 1st time.
Lol my first slipknot song was psychosocial and the first time I heard it I was into rap and threw the song out, then a month later after I started to listen to Marilyn Manson I just full on blew out and now my Playlist went from rap to heavy metal in one night
If you want to hear singing from your soul, Please check out Otep. I would Start with Ghostflowers, Lords of War, TRIC, Buried Alive. She is heavily influenced by Slipknot and The Doors. Perfect mix of metal, poetry and hip hop.
Slipknot wont be where their at if it wasn't for SLAYER once you hear SLAYER you'll know how ab why slipknot sounds listen to raining blood, hell awaits, or ANGEL OF DEATH then you'll understand
Again. Love that both let a video hit all the way through. To many people stop every 15 seconds. Kills the reaction. Great video. Now look up Null Positiv. But be shocked. Don't pre research lol
