On the Established Titles ad-read, in approximate order: no one becomes an actual lord, there is no 'historic Scottish custom' which makes landowners lairds/lords/ladies, there is no ownership of any plots of land transferred since it's a 'souvenir plot' rather than a legally transferrable plot of land, no one can 'legally' be a lord from an ET purchase because (again) there is no land transfer nor Scottish custom to bestow the title. They're not quite the scam some claim, but there's also misinformation in their releases.

The loophole they are exploiting that lets you call yourself a lord if you give them money is (drum roll)... You can call yourself whatever you like the vast majority of the time anyway. You don't need to give them money to do so. Seriously, stop randomly giving money to this company. Give money to charity and print your own certificate saying you give them permission to call themselves a lord. This is only marginally less dumb than the 'make Kanye a billionaire again' donations page.
@T.BG822
@T.BG822 Год назад
@@agsystems8220 Because they've used the words 'legally' and 'officially' and allowed past ad reads to specify that you can use Lord/Lady on any official document, their loophole could violate prima facie - basically anything you'd present to a bank or government agency as proof of identity can't have a title on it that's not yours, because that runs the risk of adjusting legal reception. So even that loophole just doesn't work.

the reason they animated different aspects in twos and ones is mainly so that while miles is still getting to grips with his powers, he's a bit clunky, and is on twos, but then once he's fully become the new spiderman he's more in sync with how everything works and is animated on ones to show that newfound smoothness and fluidity.

Concerning EbSynth 2, I will share a technique I made experiences with that give very interesting results for the kind of thing you were doing in this video : Instead of using the final image of the stylized modified frame as a key image, I make a “difference” key image that I process through ebsynth then apply the result on top of the original footage as a layer with “Linear light” blending mode in after effects. The “difference” image is obtained by putting the original footage image on top of the modified image with colors inverted with 50% layer opacity. It gives you an image that will be 50% gray where there is no difference between the two images, lighter values where the modified image is lighter than the original, and darker values where the modified image is darker. By applying this “difference” image layer on top of the original with “linear light” blending mode, the result becomes exactly the modified image. It works the other way around as well : if you invert the colors of the “difference” image and put it on top of the modified image with the same blending mode, you will obtain the original image. Using these “difference” images as key images for ebsynth has several advantages : - It will not process parts of the image that haven’t been changed from the original; - you don’t have to do heavy rotoscoping to compose it with the original footage, because it will only affect the parts of the image that you chose to modify; - as it is a “difference” image applied on the original, changes in lighting on the original will be kept on the final result; - most of the parts of the image that ebsynth have trouble with to process will end up more or less blurred out to as a medium gray that, with the “linear light” blending mode, will leave less visible artefacts where ebsynth screwed up; - you can cumulate difference layers on top of each other (if the modified areas overlap, it’s a little finicky though). There is of course the same kind of limitations that you will have from any other ebsynth image processing, and you will still have to pick your key frames wisely, but I find that this technique allows me to use much less key images than with the usual technique. But your mileage may vary, it depends a lot on your source footage and what kind of modification, stylisation you are trying to do. A final tip with using this technique : process your “difference” footage a first time, then apply it on top of your source footage but with inverted colors. Export the result to use it as the source video frames for a second pass in ebsynth, keeping the same key “difference” frames than the first time. Then update the “difference” footage on top of your original, but without the colors inverted. What it does is that this first pass creates sort of an “enhanced” reference footage that will easier for ebsynth to tell what goes where. There are lots of vfx possibilities with this technique, so have fun with it, do some experiments.

The thing is, hand-drawn animation will never go out of style. The amount of creativity in movement and design allotted through something hand-drawn is irreplaceable. As long as your source for the animation is real footage, the final product is going to feel too realistic and it's going to lose its magic.

@@samuelkibunda6960 The Japanese industry has pretty much been carrying this tradition of high quality, hand-drawn animation. Well-known western animation studios nowadays heavily rely on computer-generated animation for feature-length films and projects. Many Japanese animation studios have an unhealthy rate of output, but even with the rise of worker unions and international feedback, their work ethic isn’t budging. A.I. has and always will be simply a tool. The concept of mimicking art will always be seen as interesting and eyebrow-raising to the public, but will never hold the same regard as, say, original work from scratch. That being said, mimicking art to this degree of quality still requires large amounts of work. There will always be more original creators than A.I. specialists. tl;dr Hand drawn animation will still sell, though mostly carried by its appeal and the anime industry. It's more complicated to alter an original work to look like original work, rather than hire someone to create the original work themselves.

As good as the final product is, it still feels wrong in some way. Yes, there is some work that goes into making this project - as stated in the video. But it is still putting frames and videos into an AI generator, and spitting out something that took a whole group of animators four years to make and perfect by hand. All that is left is small filming shots, cropping and editing. Things you guys do on an everyday bases. That isn't me brushing off the work you guys did do, but that is me saying that we are well passed the point of calling AI generators a 'tool' rather than a complete replacement.
@kullundee

@dananderson8814
@dananderson8814 Год назад
@@kullundee Right? I would believe they would be smart enough to see the issue - seeing them themselves are artists and content creators. They sit there and say that "as long as you say you're inspired," but you're dealing with a computer system that doesn't understand that, and a billion people on this Earth who will more than likely not give a shit about anyone else like you do. This whole thing with AI generators was okay when it was for simple goofs and gags, but now you have companies whose main goals are to completely wipe out the art industry and utilize generators. I just wish Corridor could actually speak the truth, rather than sweep it under the rug and tell us that it's all fine like they have been.
