She's not an introvert going through this challenge. She is an agoraphobic going through this challenge. to everyone who is thinking of trying this challenge: start with just walking thirty minutes a day if you arent a natural runner, so you dont overwork your body straight away, and after you want more add some jogging into the mix and then just see how far you can go (you dont have to put this in a certain time) but running even just walking everyday or so is so helpful for your body and mind, youll feel so much better abt yourself i promise you that, ive been doing it for two weeks now and i do see changes in my stomach and also in my stamina, sadly im not able to go out and run bc of the pandemic but if you are able to go out and walk/run i encourage you to do so!!!!

We have worked up to 6.5 miles a day with our dog during the pandemic so far! We do it in the morning and afternoon. I take care of the mornings and my husband does the afternoon. We even have our kids come with us, so we’re getting no less than 6.5 miles a day in movement. And we get in some great conversations with the kiddos who are struggling with all this. We do our 6.5 miles in an hour and a half. Walking. I thank our puppy everyday for pushing us to move! He’s a husky so he demands a lot of attention 😩🤣

Yeah. That's so stupid about these "Doing things for 30 days"- projects: You *need* days off. Your body *needs* time to regenerate. And it's nor sustainable. It's like crash dieting. Same with the 30 days nutrition experiments. It's never a sustainable actual lifestyle change. And it can actually make the regular behaviour worse , when you revert back. Because you associate the 30 days abstinence with suffering and craving and then, when you get to have that thing again, you associate it even more with relaxation, release, gratifaction and pleasure.

The military really gets to you. I saw 2 mi in the title and I was only concerned about them not taking rest days, I figured 2 mi isn’t that far. So I was genuinely surprised that some of the ladies thought it was a far distance. It just reminds me of before I joined when I could barely run down the street & back.

The best thing i did waa eaze into it by power walking 5k a day and then throwing some running intervals in there because doing a full out run, now i can run 5k every morning🏃🏾‍♀️

You should do weight lifting too. I had knee problems when I was running a lot. Went to a doctor and she told me it’s because my hamstrings support my knees and I wasn’t strength training them enough to endure the cardio.

I’m so proud of them, running 2 miles for 30 days is awesome. Even the army doesn’t run 2 miles every single day. It takes a toll on your mind ESPECIALLY on your body. So amazing job females . HUAHHHHHH

I can honestly say running a mile or two a day will have really good effects on your body *everyone's body is different so it may vary* I ran cross-country ever since I was in 4th grade, as a woman who had a hard time losing weight, i ran everyday. Running helps me with anxiety, depression, or a bad day, it was just my sense of relief- pushing all my anger and sadness out my body just through every step. I already know not Everyone likes running, most people hate it, from one runner to another ; 1. Have good shoes, 2. comfortable clothes 3. hydrate! 4. have a good *safe running route that you're normally used to but don't forget to mix it up too. 5. Music or podcast 👌 6. *warm up before you run and static stretch after the run, you don't want to start a static stretch before the run cause you'll most likely form cramps. 7. Deodorant works as a miracle for chafing. There's way more tips and tricks but I really like the idea of this video a lot 💖🙏✨

@@Drewless well you can't jump to conclusions and start a caloric deficit diet, always consult with the dietitian and fitness expert to see what kind of interventions an individual might need to achieve their goals, and get the doctors advice - an accurate plan so they don't lose any energy *metabolism is a crucial part too* and if an individual disorderly eats, eventually they could get sick or fatigued cutting back calories than what they can safely manage. most forget that when you cut back on the calorie intake you cut back on your essentials intake.

Honestly, I think running everyday is unhealthy and will lead to injury. Your body needs a day or two in a week to recover. Also, if you run often, it would be really important to also do strength training. I agree with many of the other points you had.
@pitterpatterson

Food is 85 percent of losing weight. Running is great but it only burns calories while you are doing it. Calisthenics and weightlifting burn throughout the day. So if you're calorie cutting and want to lose fat and weight, a mix of cardio and weight training is great. But eating right will make it melt off! I personally love running in the mornings on an empty stomach then doing pushups and stuff at night while watching t.v. it helps
