I always found theyre more of a fall time bait around September. Thats what the old man told me at cats on the red and oh boy was he right!!!! Suckers for spring Goldeye for summer Ciscos for fall And Shrimp is always a good backup

@Paige Don't be afraid to sit back on a rock and use your body as a counter weight. Its much easier on the wrist and forearm. 👍

Nice! I like to get out for cats at least once per year to ease the cat scratch fever. Didnt get to fish cats at Lockport last year but got some nice ones at the portage spillway 😉
