As far as I know every swedish soldier/conscript gets issued a IR and Visual laser like the PEQ-15 but not that one specifically. You also gets issued atleast a red dot, you could get a magnifier dependig on your role. Our special forces are very secret so can't know what they use.

But even in such difficult conditions, 3 months were enough to defeat the dwarf army of Finland and the USSR still achieved what it wanted from Finland - moved the border away from the large city of Leningrad (now St. Petersburg). The close border posed a threat because Finland was an ally of Nazi Germany. Finland itself was a Nazi country hostile to the USSR - that's why it chose Nazi Germany as its ally. The USSR several times offered to peacefully resolve the issue of Leningrad's security in exchange for territories in Karelia, but Finland refused and war became inevitable.

Ehauki first of all, things have started going south for Ukrain now, they will probably not hold on for very long. Secondly, if Russia would have gone full guns blazing this would have been over long ago. Thirdly, Ukrain is a stronger force than Sweden, plus it’s getting support from other countries.

@@tvaettis0653 first of all, do you really think that Russia can aford a new war, especially with an EU member?. Have you seen the sanctions, Russia's economy is collapsing together with the country and regime it self. For the second, Sweden has less in numbers but is far more advanced than both Ukraine and Russia with some of the best equipment in the world. That equipment is also mostly Swedish made, some examples of this equipment is the Visby class corvette, Str122, carl-gustav anti tank weapon, JAS 39 Gripen and the Gotland class submarine ( who sank one of the usa's aircraft carriers in an exercise, without they even noticed it.) For the third, we have just sent our NATO request and we're a part of the EU, that means that we most likely would get even more help and support than Ukraine. And lastly Why do you even defend Russia, Are you on there side, do you support the invasion? I just want to say that I am NOT trying to be mean or act like I'm better than you! I'm just having a normal conversation, okey.

Ehauki Ehauki I do not in any way defend Russia, I’m just being realistic instead of naive. As you said, the will face huge sanctions on top of the costs of their losses. Therefore I don’t think they would invade us anytime soon, so I guess you could say we’re prepared for them, hoping they won’t attack. The only way to make it succesfull would pretty much be to use way more merciless measures. No matter how good our technology may be we just don’t have the manpower and resources to face an enemy the size of Russia. Also, what will a ”yacht” with barely any firepower, that is solely reliant on manouverability do against their battleships? Not much…
