Just brilliant, always amazes me how they can reproduce the intricate yet chaotic music live. This is an epic song and performance.

Hey loved your vid - check out their legendary In Rainbows: From the Basement' concert - "Weird Fishes/Arpeggi - Live from the Basement" would be an excellent next stop on a 9 album mind blowing musical powerhouse of delicacy mixed with experimentation mixed with in your face rock. They have all that devotion and critical acclaim for a reason. Also why a lot of people - and rightfully cause not everything is for everybody - but if you like them yu may end up loving them and may end up adding them to your all time favorites. It is well worth the further exploration and I'm glad I saw this. You all obviously know your music regardless of how you respond to RH.

Muse was definitely inspired by Radiohead, they actually recieved some criticism for taking after them too much early on.

Hey guys. Good vids and good channel. One thing though….Matt Bellamy and Muse came after Radiohead 😊…….if you like Thom’s voice, check out Jeff Buckley. He decided to use more falsetto in his singing after seeing Jeff Live once (RIP Jeff Buckley)…….my favourite Radiohead album is the bends but most of them are great (haven’t heard the latest 2 though)

React to these 2 songs, studio versions, and not music videos because IMO, for 1st listens, music videos can take your attention away from the soundscapes:- - How To Disappear Completely - Fake Plastic Tree

I agree, sometimes it's best to just have the audio to lose yourself in with out the visuals to distract you.

I'd agree at least up until The Bends. Fake Plastic Trees for sure, but I don’t see any resemblance from OK Computer onwards. (Maybe on Nude).

I've heard no mention of Thom Yorke taking inspiration from Jeff Buckley. You might as well toss in Freddie Mercury's name for good measure, who also had a four-octave vocal range.

I know some people absolutely love them but I hate them and this so much ... the most over-rated over-hyped band I've ever heard. To anyone who loves them - thats fine everyone is entitled to their opinion and if you like them then enjoy them I just dont get it at all. I know people think it's complex but it sounds like a cat being tortured by out of tune instruments to me, always has and always will.

Hmm interesting, I guess Radiohead isn't for everyone, ha 😎 Ive only heard like 5 songs so not quite sure yet how I feel about them
@alphaomega7191
@alphaomega7191 Год назад
@@reactionextraction - Like I said I am fine with people liking them but I find them depressing and I dislike both his voice and the music most of the time. One of the things thats great about music is that it's varied and thus it becomes personal to the listener. I love Rammstein but I am well aware that German Industrial Metal is not for everyone and I am certain some people hate them and I am fine with that. Love your reactions.

I just pretty much saw the same comment from you on another Radiohead reaction. Spend more time not listening and less time making yourself hate. ;)
@alphaomega7191
@alphaomega7191 Год назад
@@theberlinfrequency4250 - I do listen - I just dont like Radiohead. I actually dont really understand why anyone likes them because his voice is naff, the instrumentation is naff, they are naff - it honestly sounds like cats being tortured by out of tune guitars to me. I know people disagree with me which is why I said as much in my comment. I'm fine with people liking them because everyones personal taste is different but in this case I cant fathom how people like it. That said I like Rammstein and I'm well aware German Industrial Metal isn't for everyone ... I am sure that some people think it's just angry sounding noise. The beauty of music is it's personal to you, if you like their music to top yourself too then I wont ever understand why but I'm happy for you that you like it.
@johnphilbill
@johnphilbill Год назад
@@alphaomega7191 Can I suggest 'Nude' from 'In Rainbows? I get the whole subjective thing. Im not a huge fan of Rammstein but there are certain songs i appreciate. But I urge you to give 'Nude" a chance due to your 'naff' voice comment and 'naff instrumentation'. For me the instrumentations - specificaly the strings are really something else, and his vocals are not your typical Radiohead vocals. Each to their own though. You might hate it 😂 Edit * for a Rammstein fan I possibly suggested the worst Radiohead song haha, its their least heavy, least guitar driven song. But just in terms of your comments about instrumentation, vocals and composition, I had to reccomend it.
