Fun fact, MANY people in the 1960s thought Steve Ditko drew the o.g. Doctor Strange comics while high on drugs. As a far right wing objectivist (atheist moral absolutist libertarian) though, Steve Ditko was horrifed by the implication. Turns out he was just inspired by the "groovy" wall paper samples and shower curtains he saw while walking past domestic merchandise retail stores while out and about in 1960s NYC.
