Thank you It was a cool discovery . The tide had come up about 15 feet farther than where the bird was caught. About 2 inches of depth. Any more and that bird might not have made it.
The bands were so small and, my go pro couldn't focus close enough. It's banded for a reason I'm thinking we saved a snowy plover I'm not sure. The thing I did know was to release it as soon as I could.
