Mount Washington in New Hampshire. 6,200 foot elevation. If you're heading to New England, I recommend driving up it.

That view was breathtaking. and oh, my Lord, Mama bear and her babies. Do you know how lucky you are to get as close as you were? without getting hurt. They are so beautiful. It made me remember we took. a youth Group trip. to the smoky mountains. with our church. We rented a cabin on the top of the mountain for a week. One evening. We ordered pizza. The kids were downstairs in the game room with their pizza, sliding glass doors. Luckily, they were closed and locked in the game room. The children went to screaming. We went running downstairs. Mama bear and baby bears were trying to come through the sliding glass door. We had the children and everyone to turn off the downstairs lights. And we had. the children to come back upstairs with us. We looked over the balcony to watch the Bears. soon they decided to give up and leave. They were so beautiful. but they can be so much more dangerous. I am 64 years old with a bad. heart. I'm not able to get out and do the things that I used to do. I really do appreciate. you guys. showing us your videos. It brings back so many memories of the things and places that I have been to and have seen. Love to you, George George and your family. I grew up about 45 minutes from the Smokies. At nearly 70, I have seen a lot of black bears. They are truly magnificent. Keep your distance! Riding the Blue Ridge Parkway on a Harley is great too. The last time we were at Mt. Mitchell, it was rainy and cold. And very foggy!

Meat, seasoning, carrots, potatoes, cabbage and water. In that order and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours, depending on the weight of the meat. Perfect every time!

My parents took us to the smoky mountains every year in the 1960's. We have camped at Mt. Mitchell and that whole area on the Blue Ridge Parkway is Beautiful.

Corned beef in the slow cooker is one of my favourite meals! I cook it in water with Honey, garlic and herbs and it melts in your mouth 👌🏻

Mount Washington in New Hampshire is 6,288 feet, the tallest in Northeast of the Mississippi. You'd all love it as it has a weather observatory at the summit. You can either drive up, the Cog Railroad or, not sure, but there use to be a bus to take people up. Not sure you'll get this far North but we love that area.

We are very fortunate to have Mt. Mitchell. Our family used to have cookouts there. It is especially beautiful during the fall when the leaves start changing colors. Glad yall are enjoying your adventures. The Cherokee call the Blue Ridge "The Land of The Smoke". Which translates into the Blue Ridge.

Love this, Been there many times, But I admit to not walking all the way across the Swinging bridge.... too scary. IT is always windy on Mt. Mitchell. Supper scary drive up when its rainy , once my Dad was driving and you literally could not see your hand a foot from your face, (at the information area and restrooms), had to hold on to each other not to get lost! If you find any ripe blackberries along the parkway you can pick and gather them. The sweetest Blackberries I ever tasted were growing wild around some of those park and view spots.

The Honey was literally in tears🥹 and boy oh boy was it delicious! Our favorite corned beef comes from aldis! But they don't sell cabbage, or at least we can never find it there

LoL some how I knew you were in NC. Born and raised in western NC. We do have some of the most beautiful landscape of the US I think. That's just my opinion lol. Would love to say hello but I have restrictions on my mobility these day. So glad you are experiencing my home state. I grew up on Pisgah ❤. Please take your time here. There is so much to learn.💜. Just remember in these mountains to gear down going down hill to save your breaks. Always wanted to be an RV er but life took a different turn for me. Hope you get to see our awesome beauty and enjoy our fresh aire.!!!love you guy's wish I could have done this with my children. That food looked delicious 😋 with over medium or scrambled eggs!!!!!!!!

I thought it was interesting there is a Tahoma lake. The highest Mountain in WA is Mount Rainier, also known as Tahoma, is a large active stratovolcano in the Cascade Range of the Pacific Northwest in the United States Wikipedia. Elevation 14,411

We were in awe the whole time😍 the drive up the mountain takes an hour and it is just sooo gorgeous! There are tons of stops up with overlooks and it is too beautiful 😍
