Thank you for this review. Unfortunately I got a case already, albeit I can return it still, but not sure if I will get the S3 on time. Is there any chance you could please measure the min width and height you need to fit the S3? Or maybe measure what are the inside dimensions of the C2 case?
No it doesn't due to the height of the S3 Pro. I even put it to the lowest setting possible as well. Lower than this video mind you. I'm using another hard case that has a shoulder strap along with pass through charging for a reasonable price.
My BoboVR S3 Pro Headstrap arrived 😀 but unfortunately it does not fit in the Apexinno Hard Case, which you recommend 😕 The side arms of the S3 are too wide and rest on the edge. Then the lid cannot close properly. I will try a C2 case or wait for the next bobo-case 🙂
I have to store them all in duffle bags because they take up so much space!! I need to find some local people who need cases and just give em out Oprah style!
i got some silicon ones that your supposed to put on headphones off of amazon, been using them on my quest 2 and I'll transfer them to the quest 3 once the headstrap turns up
Thanks for sharing this! That boboVR C2 is only 40 bucks too, not too bad! Got mine ordered! I figure I may take my headset on vacation this year, and got the S3 strap on the way!
even tough I don't have a Quest 3 yet, still watching your videos and getting up to date for futur reference ^^. Jay you are THE reference in VR for me. have a great day
James, I swear to God you deserve the type 2 diabetes that we are all slowly watching. You get because you keep doing these awesome little aesthetic upgrades to your headset and then never tell us where you get them from and they always end up being from some poor talented artist who doesn't sell very many of them like those squiggly lines or whatever. So now I see you've got something new. What are those blue and red dots up near the top? They look dope come on. Where did you get them?
Lol love this!! The blue dots are part of a custom made facial interface. The developer gets a 3D scan of your face and makes a facial interface that perfectly matches it. I'm still in the process of reviewing that but it should be out in the next week or so. Company is call Oblik. The only red I can see is when I put it in the case the grip straps I use have a red border on them. It's these ones: amzn.to/3SQfW9K REVIEW HERE: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ijQGwVMjJnI.html around 8 mins
@@jaybratt I've got a scoop for you that you might be able to use in your videos that nobody seems to have noticed or put together the connection between yet.
Why would you not actually just get a hard case for it? Like a Nanuk 908? Why waste money on a carry case that doesn't protect from anything except scratches.
@@corybacon626 the main reasons I'd guess is: Cost Size Some people like less hard things than those cases But I do agree those strong cases offer the most protection by far. You could run over that with a truck and it might save the quest 😂
@@jaybratt I do a lot of flying. Those cases wouldn't protect from baggage damage. But they'd be ok for going to a friends place, needing only a bag to keep things together.
It's good to know the Old BoboVR Case still holds up even with the Super Strap. Though I'm still going to use the Camera Bag I got for it since I can move around the pannels to how I like it and the bag is think enough for the super strap. (Even though I'm not going to us that head strap.)
My S3 Pro just arrived and fits perfectly into my Zyber Rucksack, which is similar to your Apex backpack. My Zyber came with a nice little spongey lens protector too so no danger of scratching the lenses when you throw your controllers and cables in 😎👍🏻
I don’t really wear recommend the bubble VR S3 pro because I have problem where I’m charging the battery right now and it’s just drain the battery more so I need you repeat and also my phone is broken. I don’t know how broke but it worked at one work line I recommended it right now is not working that goodnot charging about 99% all the time the battery died and then now is the battery faster than charging it
FYI. If height is an issue the S3 Pro could go even lower than what was shown in this video. You just have to mess with it more trying to make it more leveled that's all. Yes you will have to move everything back prior to using it but I'm ok with that. I'm using a hard case with a shoulder strap along with pass through charging for a reasonable price.
Hi, quick question has the B100 or something conversion kit come out? if it has can you send me a link I can’t find it on their website and please let me know when he makes the better cat ears thanks 👍
Hi will my Q2 with the bobovr strap and the A2 air headphones, my controllers and the battery pack fit the apexinno backpack,or case. Since a modified my q2 is very difficult to find a good. Carrying case of backpack. I had the bobo vr c2 case but my frankenstein quest doesnt fit in there anymore 😮😢😅
If the BnLnHOGVR that I ordered doesn't work out, I'll get the shoulder bag, though it looked like you shoved the controllers in a pocket or something.
So pretty much none are acceptable. The first "approved" one had slots that will fling the controllers, and the second one you shoved the controllers in without mentioning them. Whenever I hear people constantly repeating the word "actually", I feel like they were effected by Harry Potter films. Same with "massive".
Well.... in that case... still sad that Destek ended their production of their large vr case (it was more of a dustcover than a hardcover case) but still good news that the C2 is still king when it comes to space for the headset.
Great video! You missed the one case I was curious about though! The Yoge charging case you reviewed a while back. I’m currently using that with my Quest 2 w/ M2 Pro strap. I’m also curious on if the pass through charging works with it. Also, any other charging cases that might work well with the S3. I’d really like to see BoboVR do an official case for the S3 with pass through charging that magnetically plugs onto the battery port, so you can charge the Quest in the case without unplugging the strap from the headset. Or just a charging cable or dock in general that works that way.
Thank you for this. I just got the Apex Inno thanks to this video. I wanted the Aubika but the black version was sold out already for a while. I didn't like that it had a bag for the controllers. When I saw the Apex one I deceided to get that one. I have to detach the bottom part of the Meta knucklestraps on the controllers to make them fit, but that is not much of an issue. The Kiwi design headstrap fits well, so I am really happy with it!
Thanks for the thoroughness! I bought an adicop halo strap while I was waiting for the Bobo straps to come back into stock, but this is still pretty relevant as mine is roughly this same size. qq though: what happens to all of the cases once you've tested them?
Thank you so much!! This is my favorite for the S3 so far: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XaLpjUsha38.html But I've got more coming tomorrow: ru-vid.comEPrzqDuVOs4
@@jaybratt thanks!! I wonder why they do this..selling the m3 with clear issues of battery for quest 3 and then made a new model with no compatibility fornthe 2 months old model. It is not a good way to do things
@@enricopellegrini sadly the M3 was kind of a half measure to help everyone survive the first 6 months of the quest 3. I think initially they wanted to use the same batteries but it became very apparent that the batteries would never keep up so they had to design a faster battery and a faster port for it meaning the old ones wouldn't be easily compatible ☹️
