This breaks my heart 💙 their is nothing wrong with preparing a young man for life outside the home. Making him pay those type of bills is unfair. She should of made him pay one utility pill not $400 per mouth. That is down right greedy and unfair.

If she had 4 Foster children she got paid . Why did she keep him in her home.if he was terrible. He has been in her care since age 4 years. He sounds like he has asthma as well as severe anxiety.

As a foster parent she should've prepared him to move out way before he became 18. Being that he wasn't, now she treated him as a tenant/husband. Paying most of the bills and then some. Whatever er was on the judges mind I still don't know. And that lecture on life after 18 was Bogus. 😢

Why didn't she get fans. In 100+ degree weather. The defendant should have made those children were safe and in 100+ degrees heat. No fans. No air conditioner. That is endangering the lives of the other children . Surely if she is getting government assistance. She should qualify for assistance to make sure those children are safe.

I thought the same thing about fans. Plus if she could not afford foster children, why do it. Especially special needs. I heard Arizona was hot. I hope he can afford to move out one day. ❤

Sorry I disagree with Judge Lake on the first case. That foster mom claimed she couldn't fix the air because she had to fix a van. but that boy said HE paid for the van, the utilities AND $700 rent!!!!!!! That woman is collecting GOOD money fostering those other 3 children and even extra for the disabled child!!!!!!!!!! Cant just fall for fake tears and a sob story talking about she couldnt have kids.... She didn't adopt those kids did she???? You PAY to adopt, you GET paid to foster

That's not what he said. He helped her buy groceries ONE time and he even said it was once. He pays her $400 in rent. He said the new apartment would cost $700. The mother fixed the van to transport the special needs child to and from appointments. He clearly works in the heat and said that. He worked himself up because he was already hot. had he sat down and drunk some cold water he could have cooled down some. He worked himself up and made himself even hotter. It is not her fault that he could get what he wanted. He could have got a fan until the air conditioner was fixed. He was being selfish. I am going to agree to disagree with you on this one. And I respect your opinion though.

I think judge lake misunderstood what he was asking for, and I think if he wasn’t so young & so angry he could’ve better prepared for court to state the case in an better way of what he was asking her for. But as soon as she started those crocodile tears and tearing him down in that court room idk why the judge didn’t see thru her! And at the end how she switched up when she had gotten her way, bc she knew what she done did to this young man, she took all his money & left him without any money to go get another place! Coming to court was probably his last resort & this was sad. I wish she would’ve understood what he was asking for to help him so she could rule in his favor but foster mom kept jumping in working him up & u could tell he was losing his train of thought each time she interrupted him. Makes me 😡 u know she is getting money for those foster kids & she’s leaning on this young man to keep her a float! Idk why judge lake just let her sit here & condone her actions!

My heart breaks for this young man (1st case) because most of his paycheck goes to his foster mother. My niece lives with me. She's in her early 30s -- rents in Chicago are VERY HIGH. She used to pay $1,800 rent. She pays me $400 per month which includes all utilities, free food and Wi-Fi. She's thankful, grateful and appreciates everything I do for her. I put her on my car insurance. She uses my 2024 vehicle whenever she needs to run errands. I allow her to take my vehicle to her job every Saturday. If I have plans for a given Saturday, I drive her to work. The young 18 year old needs to move out on his own, get a roommate, split the security deposit 50/50, rent and utilities.

When it's 90 degrees in AZ it feels like 110 -- "a cash cow" is what he called his foster mother. What an ungrateful brat. She fostered him for 14 years and this is how he thanks her. Sad. 😢

As a 33 year old black South African I cannot fathom the level of entitlement of the boy in the first case. If you drop out of school at home you lose the right to ask for ANYTHING let alone b* about the aircon. Are you freaken kidding me? UNGRATEFUL!!

I could tell 30 seconds in the foster ‘mom’ is someone that takes kids in just to cash a check and treats it like a full time job. Insanity. She berated him so much. At the end she was smirking and threatening to kick him out.

Naw SHE is using HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She stopped getting a check when he turned 18. She Took his cash out that he should have gotten when he aged out. That would have set him up in an apartment. And is taking the majority of his paycheck so he can NEVER save and move
