We Tried Strangers' Custom Starbucks Drinks 

I used to work at Starbucks. We had a regular customer at my store who was a little different. He was a 60 year old man who would come in and play League of Legends, and his custom order that he had to have every time perfectly was a Trenta Black Iced Tea with 17 Equal packets. It HAD to be 17 Equals, and he could tell. Once I tried testing him. I put 16 in there. He noticed, and demanded me to remake it. Not even put another packet in there - he needed it to be redone. He was an interesting fella. But he was pretty nice if you got his drink right lol

As a Starbucks barista, I feel so bad for the employees that had to make 6 of each of these drinks.

As a barista, I paused each recipe to loudly shout expletives at the ingredients. 20 pumps of pumpkin sauce and 14 shots of espresso? Oh my god, I don’t care about making it, I just don’t feel comfortable giving that to anyone. Should they sign a waiver? Do I need to drive you to a hospital?

They should’ve just made all these drinks tall instead of Venti since everyone just took one sip of each. Kind of a waste of money lol

I work at Starbucks and I can't express the struggle of people getting mad at me and complaining about the drink that they ordered because they didn't know what they were actually ordering like how are you going to complain about foam when you ordered a cappuccino Becky 🤦🏻‍♀️

I work at Starbucks and these are honestly some peoples drinks ! I’ve made crazier ones these aren’t that different it’s just extra sweetener in the same beverage some guests get really creative and we can’t judge them because some of us drink soda and other sugary drinks that probably has the same amount of sugar but soda is so “normal “

Okay but not everyone gets almond milk to be healthy... I'm lactose intolerant and my drink is milk based like most of the menu and if I have somewhere to be I can't be out here drinking a venti cup of whole milk. I hate the way almond milk, soy milk, and coconut milk taste in my drink, but I don't really have many other choices

12 packs of sugar is a lot, but think of it this way. There are about 10 packs of sugar in a 12 oz coke. And almost 16 in a 20 oz coke. If you’re going to say that these drinks are going to lead to diabetes, hypertension, or whatever health problems you can think of, just think about how many bottles of soda some people drink in one day. That’s completely worse than having one of these sugar-saturated Starbucks drinks. It’s just harder to tell that there is so much sugar in a Coke or Pepsi because they also add loads of sodium (which only makes you thirstier and want another coke). Just a little food for thought.

Hot white chocolate mocha with caramel drizzle (sometimes an add shot) all the caramel sits at the bottom for a nice sweet finish ☺️ makes my tastebuds happy

Barista here, got two RIDICULOUS drinks that are Regulars at my Starbucks. 1) Venti Green Tea Frap, 6 Scoops of Matcha, 2 Scoops of Protein, 4 Pumps of the Light Coffee Frap Base, 4 Pumps of Sugar Free Vanilla, Coconut milk, Double blended. And this lady comes in Every Day. 2) Venti, 10 Pump Chai, 5 Pump Vanilla, plus 2 Espresso Shots, The cup is almost 3/4 full and I haven’t even added the 190 degree milk AND Whipped Cream. WHAT!?? Then theres this one old guy who’s drink really isn’t even weird, I just hate the way he orders it. He demands that the drink be “Stirred with a [insert current Barista’s name here] smile” and if its a rush and you call out the drink without the f****** smile, he calls you out and stands there until you smile at him. I get that he’s trying to just joke around but Seriously I would give you a smile anyway, I love being a barista. But the way he includes it in his order as if its an ingredient its just creepy and almost demeaning? I’ve yet to find the proper word this man makes me feel. By telling me i need to smile, doesn’t make me want to smile. Its just the way he says it.

Nothing beats a plain black coffee (No sugar no milk)

I enjoy the occasional drink from Starbies. I've cut back dramatically because I realized how pricey it was. I love the refreshers and the caramel frappichinos. I hardly go, but when I do, I get the smaller size.

Try the Vietnamese Ice Coffee Hack from Starbucks. - In a grande cup with extra ice, an iced espresso with 3 pumps of white chocolate mocha sauce, with an extra splash of cream (substitute for almond milk if you are lactose intolerant). Its not as creamy as condensed milk, but the taste is there. Plus it’s only like $3.50

Venti blonde doubleshot on ice with 3 vanilla, 2 toffee nut and half and half. You’re welcome.

TO THE TEA LOVERS: Try a grande London Fog Latte with almond milk and 8 pumps of vanilla sweetener. Its actually pretty calming and super delicious!

On the rare occasion that I go to Starbucks, I get a peppermint hot cocoa made from soymilk if it's cool out and a strawberry whatever smoothie, hold any added sugar or syrup, if it's warm out. Once I went into a random coffee place for a smoothie and had this exchange: Me: I would like one strawberry mango smoothie, please, no syrup or sugar added. Barista, looking pained: It's *just* syrup. Me: ... Me: I'm sorry I wasted your time.

It’s so funny watching this now bc I work at starbucks. I’ve got some WHACk drinks. Tall iced coffee in a Trenta cup 6 pumps of vanilla 11 pumps of classic extra cream extra ice. Tall iced decaf americano light water 6 Splenda, 6 pumps skinny mocha, light nonfat milk, extra ice, in a venticup, blended with no base. I’ll come back with more soon. (Please just be a decent human being and don’t order these drinks)

I’m a Starbucks barista and I’ve made so many awful drinks but one that sticks out is one of our regular customers that gets a venti iced coffee with 75% cream and 25% coffee, 14 pumps of vanilla, 8 pumps of toffee nut, shaken, double cupped with no sticker on it. It tastes like your drinking straight creamer

14 shots of espresso?? That’s 1,246 mg of caffeine and you’re supposed to have at most 400 mg per day.

Starbucks is all about the burned coffee! I took a study once and that was part of the questions in different ways about Starbucks Coffee smelling or tasting burned and it does I won't even go into one and I wouldn't mind trying a matcha latte but I can't stand the smell!

When I was 15 I worked at Mcdonalds for a few months and we had a promotion where people could get a free small coffee. People tried to cram 10 creams and 10 sugars into the small coffee, we could barely fit coffee in there!

I worked for starbucks for a while and there was a lady who used to order a Trenta (she would pronounce it as "trentie"😑) iced green tea extra sweetner shaken with no bubbles.....AND WOULD LITERALLY SENT IT BACK IF THERE WAS A BUBBLE WTF

I used to work at starbucks and I was so confused on why people ordered certain things. Especially their free drinks!!! Omfg they would add everything ALL OPTIONS AVAILABLE in their drinks just to get their "moneys" worth. 3 to 4 sugars more in any drink is enough for sure. Also people dont understand what coffee is? They dont understand what makes them more awake. They think a latte has more coffee than a cup of coffee. Starbucks is amazing how they dont tell people caffine contents.

I once had people order two grande coffees with cream and 52 SUGARS EACH. I used classic bc fuq u I am not opening 104 individual sugar packets. We poured some into another cup and tasted it and it was like drinking straight from a bottle of syrup. It was. The Worst.

Just wanted to say... 16 shots in a trenta cup with one pump of vanilla and a splash of 2%. I love it. Yes, I work for Starbucks. Worst customer drink I can recall though was a trenta iced coffee with 12 packets of equal 12 packets of Splenda extra caramel drizzle extra cream light ice cold foam cold brew whip and sugar free vanilla instead of classic. You could literally chew the drink. Also only got about 4 ounces of coffee in a 32oz cup. Disgusting.

as a current starbucks barista: this video makes me want to cry lol. I've seen worse drinks ( and routinely make them) but god damn 14 shots of espresso?!?! a venti is 20 oz, and a shot is 1 oz, and each set of shots takes approximately 20 seconds to pull. Plus the TWENTY pumps of pumpkin there's no way that there's any space for milk. I honestly wonder what process of trial and error these people go through to find these crazy drinks lol.

my least fav customer drink orders that are regulars are tied with grande cold 2% milk with half a shot of decaf espresso, stirred well with three pumped white mocha, four (exactly) ice cubes and whipped cream triple ristretto grande latte with 8 packets of raw sugar, nonfat, no foam, at 180 degrees, light whip SEVEN SHOT espresso macchiato, extra dry, two raw sugars, foam to top

Why did you guys do gross stuff? Geez!! My custom drinks: Grande flat white - soy milk, 2 pumps white mocha and 2 pumps raspberry. 4 shots of ristretto espresso. Green tea frapp - no classic, no blending base syrup, blend in a banana Cafe vanilla frapp - sub 2 shots espresso for the frap roast, 1 scoop protein powder, blend in banana There. Those are far more delicious!

Trenta Passion Tango Tea, 10 pumps instead of 7, and I put in 16 equal packets.

Y'all I once made a drink that was a venti decaf quad breve extra hot pumpkin spice latte with 6 pumpkin, 4 caramel brulee, 6 caramel sauce, 4 sf moch, 4 white mocha, 4 caramel syrup, 6 peppermint, 4 vanilla, 3 splenda, 4 sugar, toasted white mocha, and light foam. It was the nastiest thing I've ever made. The syrup was 3/4 of the cup, and it ended up with only about an inch of cream. i honestly hope someone ordered it as a joke and no one actually drank it. I think it was also $11.56 it was wild
