Ok, here we go, our first time trying the famous Malaysian Ramly Burger. We have heard so many great things about the burger, so we are finally trying it for ourselves!
Malaysian street food is always good, so surely the Ramly burger will be great too ....!?

The Ramly Burger is a brand unique to Malaysia.They can be found everywhere.Some have a sweeter taste, a lot of sauces, veggies and most importantly, they are cheap and of course delicious.😋

Parenting while travelling is really awesome. Exploring the nature..foods..people..places etc... all are very educative actually for the young kids. I have 5 children .... now they are big kids. They explore different things on their own with minimum monitoring... make mistakes n misguided sometimes. But however it's a good lesson for them while growing up. As parents we are just advising..reminding.. annoying them..hahaa😁.. n all the non-stop parenting. But hey this is the parents job. As Muslims we will never stop parenting them with different approach as they growing into adulthood. We pray for their health n safety that Allah may protect n bless them. So keep up your good job n stay blessed.

Ramly Burger is the Brand of the Patty sonce 1983... each Vendor will have a different presentation, sauces and toppings. Many tourists are surprised that Malaysia has a burger culture. Special denotes with Egg. Some prople ask less sauce so that it is less soggy .

The "Ramly" is actually the patty brand. You can customize your burger as you like. That's why the guy asked if you want "double cheese" or "double patty" to be sure. My personal favorite is "double beef cheese" (double patty and one cheese) and I once said it wrongly "double cheese beef" (one patty, extra cheese) so it's common for some sellers to ask to be sure. Oh and remember, "benjo" means burger with egg without any patty, and anything "special" just means add on egg.

In ordering a Ramly burger, every ingredient could be customised: just inform the stall operator. More/less/none of this or that sauce - no problem. Chicken patty & beef patty in the same burger - done. More/less/no veggie - you got it.

Small kids may not like Ramli Burger too much due to the spices and strong taste. Us adults, we crave for more. Yes, different stalls different style but generally the taste is a little similar, soggy and messy as it can be. Some stalls add more spice, some less. Some are dedicated and innovative, some are not. You need to find out the recommended stalls or check the ones with a little more crowd.

Thank you for coming to Malaysia ☕🍔 *For those who don't know yet* : Ramly Food Processing Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Perusahaan Burger Ramly Mokni Sdn Bhd) is a Malaysian frozen and fast food company. The company was founded by Dato’ Dr. Haji Ramly Mokni and Datin Hajjah Shala Siah Abdul Manap in 1984, with the aim of developing a clean and good-quality halal Western fast-food chain in Malaysia. Ramly started a business selling burgers with his wife from street food stalls in 1979. While working as a butcher in a market, he discovered that it is unknown whether most fresh-meat sources were halal or not, leading to Ramly's decision to produce a halal-certified meat source, hygienic and quality products for all Muslim and non Muslim consumers in Malaysia. 👍🏻 They also have a chain of fast food restaurants but not as many as McDonalds restaurants.

Ramly Burger now is a multibilion sales company with revenue abt RM2 bilion per year and a network of 30,000 stalls nationwide. A few years back Ramly has invested abt RM1 bilion for new a factory in Pulau Indah, Klang, Selangor which have 6 line of operations..each line could produce 6 tonnes of patty/hour on 24/7 basis which abt 864 tonne of patty per day or 26,000 tonne per month..!!

Minor variations from stall to stall. but most of them are using same ingredients such as patties, bun, sauces (all mostly within the same brand) and cooked in almost identical way. The supplies normally come from quite standard suppliers .. . we can say they are almost same. Only regulars can find the different between the good and better one.

@@TheBackpackingFamily for the night ones, farlim Wednesday night market at Medan Angsana and Jelutong Friday night market at Van Praagh road are great to check out. Also worth mentioning is the sungai dua Saturday night market in Gelugor (nearby Lotus's hypermarket). As for morning ones, jelutong street market at Jelutong town is always good to explore as it is one of the busiest street market in Penang island. At Jelutong road (next to the street market) there are roadside stalls along the street for authentic penang street food experience.

I believe the burger that you tried located at penang around jalan pasar beside chinese food shop. The same spot for me on every night buying from this ramly stall because my office just around the corner. This is the best ramly stall for me in penang. It is hard to find the stall which is so generous by putting sausage in every menu with RM 6 price. It was so lucky you bought it on evening because oftentimes it will be sold out on 8.30pm Enjoy your foods 😄😄

The trick to eat Ramly Burger is with the wrapper around it to keep the burger together and the sauce in. It won’t be that messy then and your hands would be clean!

buger kalau nk rasa kemanisan daging nya ,kena masak daging panas panas dan terus di baluti telur baru kita dapat nikmati rasa rempah didalam daging nya.tapi kalau berniaga di tempat yang sebuk mungkin peniaga akan goreng daging banyak banyak terlebih dahulu macam brother ni buat.

Ramly burger is a bunch of sauces on top of frozen patty, making it messy, unhealthy junk food that basically culminates how Krabby Patty is described.... and its one of my all time favorite guilty pleasure.

Ramly burger is uniquely malaysian because there's no one way of making it. Now, a common misconception of Ramly burger is meat patty wrapped in egg. This is in fact not true. Ramly burger is the brand of the meat patty itself. What makes it different is the spice and seasoning mixture (think of it like Colonel Sanders' secret spice).

Hey. I’m your new subscriber 😊 I suggested to you guys go to Kampung Agong, Penang, Penang. Located at mainland of Penang. That place have beautiful paddy field and village ‘kampung’ vibes as many of housesin Malaysia we have. It’s more to you can see the traditional life there 😊 from Penang Sentral/Butterworth ferry to go there takes about 30 minutes ++ 😊surely your kids gonna love it vibes

Big difference between big franchise with street vendor.. Big company concentrate on profit while most street vendor try to survive in big business industry...can try other street vendor on burger,because they have their own actraction/different style on cooking
