What's your thoughts on the new NH-D15 G2? Would you like to see a Chromax black version in the near future? Let's chat! Also, don't forget to read the full build write-up here -> www.mrmattlee.com/post/noctua-nh-d15g2
The previous Chromax heatsinks have performed slightly worse, due to the paint. In theory, a black heatsink should perform better though. All aluminum heatsinks have traditionally been anodized black for this reason. Perhaps if Noctua can improve the process and see gains, however small, from the black version, I would be interested.
Meh, I prefer RGB over this particular build. Never was a fan of Noctua's beige/brown products, when the rest of the PC is typically black or white. An all black Noctua build would be very nice.
Hey man, recent sub here, in my mind I've been wanting to do a very similar build like this, tired of my all white + RGB setup ahahah Your videos are amazing to watch, entertaining and educational at the same time. Cheers man!
Love watching your builds, they are peaceful and serene. What I would love to see added is a noise reading, I am curious just how loud some of the builds are with all of the fans.
I like the original Noctua fans design in your case. I have NH-D15S for Ryzen 9700X and I'm absolutely satisfied with design and functionality. If I needed chassis fans, Noctua would be a number one.
Love your Noctua builds ❤ This time it’s mildly unsatisfying that you used differently colored and different type of fans. I’d love to see a tiny Noctua build (the tiniest that’s possible for you 😊) with super nice cable mamagement 🙏 I’m thrilled 😁
I have been using Noctua Coolers and Fans for years now. Most are the tan color but lately I have been getting the Chromax Black with white cover panel. My AMD R9-5950X, ASUS X570 ROG, 128GB, RX7800XT uses a Noctua NH-D15. My Intel i7-12700K, ASUS Z790 ROG, 192GB, RTX-3080 uses a Noctua NH-D15S Chromax Black. My Intel Xeon W7-2495X, ASUS W790-ACE, 512GB, RTX-3090 uses a Noctua NH-U14S DX-4677. My i7-6800K and i7-6950X systems both use Noctua NH-U12.
Love the build. One of your NXZT H5 builds inspired my PC that I have today. Btw you should totally make a spotify playlist of all the jams you use in these videos. They're sick.
Such a nice build. Takes me back to a 12 (maybe 15?) year old build I did in an Antec P180 case that was almost silent with all Noctua fans and CPU cooler. It's still sitting in my office and used as a backup sometiumes. I would build something like this in a heartbeat if the 4080 Noctua GPU wasn't so eye-watering expensive here. Love your videos. They make me relax to a nice beat for 10-15 minutes. Cheers!
I would have preferred an all black build but there is no doubt that this is a real beauty. I want to see companies start to offer customers the option of either a glass side or a mesh side. I prefer all mesh designs but either way, this is a beautiful design.
WWWWAAAAWWWWW thats a build. I was allways a big Noctua fun and still using only Noctua fans. Great job Matt. Hope in the future they will make the NH 15 fans in chromax black. (the new ones)...Thax again Matt
Finally splurged for an upgrade form a 3070 Noctua to a 4080. I wish they'd made the knob on the GPU holder nicer, like for a TUF card. It's too shiny and looks out of place. The cooler looks great, but that price is kinda hilarious. I'm sticking to my trusty old U14S. Great video, as always, Matt. Looking forward to your builds with a case version of their new 140 fan.
Today i was like. UGHH. WHEN IS MR MATT LEE NEXT VIDEO. I THOUGHT IT WOULD TAKE 2 more days, I got excited when i saw the popup. thanks again for a crazy build.
That is absolutely gorgeous. The only thing I would change is the top fan; whenever I use a top fan, even in the rear position, it always seems to raise my CPU temps by one or more degrees. Better to have right to left or bottom/right/left. Anywho, nice build.
Great build vid, again. Mm, Give me Noctua every time but I'm not a fan of the 2024 H7 Flow due to lack of dust filters and non-PWM 3 pin fans which I could happily get rid of. I think the H7 Flow mesh will allow too much fine dust in. A shame the Asus Gt 302 only takes a DH-15 or UH-12A in chromax black. Yes, I would love the D15-G2 LBC in chromax black.
I swear sometimes I stay just for the bloopers lol! Great Noctua build! I wouldn’t buy a Noctua cooler right now given how well the thermal right coolers perform as well as their excellent price, as well as their next gen products coming out very soon (I’m eyeing you Thermalright Royal Praetor Ultra 140 White edition lol)
Would love to see a zero-rgb build using the new Antec FLUX Pro (black) with Noctua fans, but the industrial color scheme (black blades with dark brown accents.
Just a heads up on the infographics, it says the side coolers are both LBC, instead of the right one being HBC. None the less awesome build, love your work man!
Another great Video, I almost like the outtakes better! I was wondering on the choice of a Gen 4 NVME SSD over a Gen 5 SSD in that awesome ProArt 670E. Was this a Design choice? I have the exact same configuration of SSD and DIMMs in my latest build on a ROG STRIX B650E-I which has Gen5 SSD support, but I used an 8700G which does not.
Hi Matt! Since G2 was released I thought "when Mr Matt Lee will release a build with the G2?". This is today!! No need to say something about your video, always perfect. What do you think about G2 price, performances and noise?
