We went hunting for the most expensive mushroom in all the world - the famous Italian truffle. Located just outside San Gimignano in Tuscany we went with a local truffle expert to find hidden truffles with his special dogs in the Italian countryside. Afterwards, we had some of the best Italian food and wine imaginable at Podere La Marronais. Our wine-tasting lunch was the ultimate feast with every dish topped or infused with fresh black truffle!
