What an honour and pleasure you lovely family! You are simply our new Bulgarians. BEAUTIFUL! Bulgaria was destined for you and thank you so much for learning our language and alphabet. We created the Cyrillic alphabet, have an official day for it (24th May) and very proud of it without sounding too patriotic. Hopefully and God willing everything goes well for you. May you and your lovely kids be healthy, happy and share lots of love! God bless you! You are a very good example. Yes, the houses are cheap and life a bit harsh in rural Bulgaria, but if you are looking to chat, socialise and have a chat you will almost find someone or a good neighbour. If you feel alone, don't hesitate to ask for help even with finances. People can give you the little they have. Oddly enough, Bulgarians amongst ourselves are nasty sometimes. This is just too Balkan. However, having travelled across many parts of the country met so many cool people including gypsies. The ones in the bigger cities have become a bit too fake, but still think there are many authentic people. The only ones that need to be sued forever, are our politicians!!! We still need to improve many of our systems, but think that there is a slow progress. Still a lot of catching up with the rest of Europe but we are not Somalia or Moldova neither. We are just a developing Balkan country. And yes, we have a coast, we have ski resorts, we have tonnes of spa places, we have a very old history just like Britain. We had 2 empires and just very old as Greece is. We survived 500 years even if the Ottomans occupied and tortured us to death. We are divided as a society when it comes to Russia because it is considered a liberator from the Ottomans, but the Soviets also made us very isolated and now sadly it is the EU that is becoming more and more indoctrinal. I really hope they do not start their suicidal agenda in Bulgaria like they are doing in Spain or Ireland for example. The EU has became very weak, it is NOT defending the rights of its citizens and not helping Eastern Europe enough.

Our language is indeed difficult. You'll learn it eventually while talking to people. It's good to see that you want to integrate fully. We like seeing that and of course we encourage it by helping when we can. Good luck and all the best. :)

Hello Today we saw your RU-vid channel and watched the last 5 videos and subscribed to you because we enjoyed watching you. We are a Bulgarian family and have been living in London for 15 years now and we also want to return to Bulgaria but our son is 14 years old and does not want to hear about these things. Great video! Everything you said in the video about Bulgaria is how we feel about living in Bulgaria too. We realised very early on when we moved there that we would enjoy our new chosen life more if we integrated with Bulgarian people, and it's so true that it is the people who make Bulgaria - they just get under your skin, as well as the wonderful weather, the amazing traditions and culture and obviously the cost of living.

How fabulous, becoming TV stars in your new country! Looked like a lovely place where they did the filming. Have you been able to get BG plates for your campervan, or is that not possible? As being able to tour more of the country in your camper would be fun

Hey you guys, how are you? We have only been in Bulgaria 5 months and still finding our feet too. Have you guys got your residency cards yet? I think ours are coming soon. Hey, what app did you use? I'm learning Russian on duolingo but it doesn't do Bulgarian. Russian helps with the older people (and everyone speaks it here in Azerbaijan) but my Bulgarian is limited to basics. TIA!
