I just finished the phoenix wright trilogy yesterday and was just thinking about the best way to play these 2 games before playing the Apollo justice trilogy. Well happy days Ace Attorney fans. Capcom really cooked this year.
This is perfect since I'm finishing Great Ace Attorney 2: Resolve, and I wanted to play the Edgeworth's spin offs after this game, since GAA2 is the only mainline game that I didn't beat yet
Every AA game, minus the Layton crossover, being on modern consoles is such a blessing tbh. I also really enjoyed the first AA: Investigations! Hope you do too when the collection drops
From what I saw, pretty much every name from the fan translation was changed. Which kinda smells, but hey, I'm still stoked for an official release regardless 💯
I'm super stoked about this, but I am worried about the changes from the fan translations. I'm sorta already set with Sebastian being a cinnamon roll, but I do hope it's still good.
I've seen some of the names of the characters, and how they're different from the fan translation (which I expected) but I assume the story and dialogue won't be too different from what fans expect
@@thatguysela me and my friends have been speculating that might get a standalone remaster coinciding with the next Layton game, really hope that happens to get the full AA set of games
@@JacobNintendoNerd99 my only gripe with the Layton game is Phoenix's VA. It must've come out in between replacing Ben Judd with Sam Riegel, and it just doesn't sound right to me. But the story and music? MMPH, it's such a good OST
@@thatguysela think there's any chance of Capcom and/or Level 5 doing a standalone remaster of that game closer to New World of Steam coming out? It's literally the only AA game not to get a current gen update so is it on the table as a serious consideration now?
@@thatguysela it will be assuming nothing bad happens between now and then. Can't wait! I recently imported the physical OG trilogy from Japan, I'll wrap that up in July, then the rest of the AP trilogy in August
