For some reason Im having a problem where the game isnt happy with Weapon_List[body.weapon_name].Current_Ammo = body.current_ammo I think I have everything right, variables seem right but when I walk over the weapon, it crashes and gives a exception like Example: Invalid get index 'basic_smg' (on base: 'Dictionary').

Hey, that kind of error would indicate that the ‘basic_smg’ is not in your weapon list. Most likely the body.weapon_name does not match any name of a resource in the weapon list.

I thought I had it in resources but I might have to check that over then when I get a chance to look at it tomorrow. Ill come back and see if adding it to the list works (which I thought picking up the weapon was suppose to add it but might be a error on me) Thx for responding again :)

@@Chaff_Games Hello, good afternoon again. I went and added the resources for the weapons that doesn't currently equip in the resources (so I believe thats what you meant by adding it to weapons list) and then got it to work, but I believe I may of figured out another reason why that was. I noticed when you showed off the Change_Weapon function in the code at 7:38, you showed the function without the if Weapon_Index != -1 part which I found when slowing down part of the video and seeing it at 7:21 paused (with the help of slowing down video). Idk if this also had something to do with it but after adding in the recourses again after I added that if statement into the Change_Weapon might of fixed it and wanted to point it out for alert. :)

Not sure if you cover this in a later video but is there a way to carry multiple of the same weapon? How this system is set up, the activate/deactivate animations won't play and the ammo is shared. How I'm doing things, the weapons are picked up by looking at them and pressing E, and ammo is obtained from separate pickups.

Sort of like an immersive sim or mil sim? This system isn’t set up for that. It follows the more basic games like cod or halo.

@@Chaff_Games im pretty sure you could carry the same weapon multiple times in cod/halo lol

dunno about cod but it depends on what weapon in halo, you just pick up ammo if you have the same weapon that's on the floor, except with dual wielding ones which will give you the option to dual wield@@CRT_YT

My weapon bounce like crazy on the ground, why could it happen? How can I place them so they won't move and I can still pick them up?

It would be on the settings of the rigid body. There are some settings that you can tweak to fix that.

Is there any to do this when pressing the keyboard buttons, for example, "E"?

You could change this to happen on command with a keyboard input. Then scan for object in the area3d.
