Thanks for the review. I'm between this and the Blackstone Adventure Ready 22" griddle that comes with the travel table on wheels. Same price but the Weber looks pretty sweet.

Thanks! Ya it is a great griddle, good size but I will admit it's fairly heavy (which is good) but that makes it a bit less portable to me if that's a factor but I would recommend it!

It looked like you were pressing on the griddle top when leveling to check if it was level. Was there something in the instructions that mentioned that? I'd love to see a brand integrate some kind of level indicator into to these portable griddles.

No I don't believe it mentions a lot in regards to checking the level of it but it's very easy to adjust the legs by spinning them. It was so out of level on my table that it caused the griddle plate to rock but once again an easy fix. I believe the Halo griddles come with level indicators! 🍻

I commented on another video of you, about the 3 x reinforcements bars from the back. I have seen on many others that from the first use of the griddle you can see the weldings on top of the plate, sticking out .... and it will not be a flat top anymore, creating small waves. Can you please do a review on that ? or at least reply ?

Ya this is common on griddles, it's just the way the metal expands when it gets hot. I've seen this on nearly every griddle I've used. In reality it doesn't affect it much, I haven't had problems with it.

Wondering about transporting this for taking it on camping trips in my RV. Looks like a carrying case would be needed in order to keep from breaking the controls.

I haven't seen any carry covers for this model released yet. I will admit the 22" has a pretty large footprint compared to other griddles, the 17" model would likely be better for transporting if you don't need the larger cooking area.

This is one of two reviews I've seen so far. Looking to get this over the new blackstone portable griddle. I know it's stated the lid is not functional but wonder if it can actually be used, like for melting cheese faster. Don't know if the lids finish and material could take it. Thanks for the video.

Thanks! It's definitely more solid than the blackstone in my opinion. I would imagine the lid could be closed briefly during use to help melt cheese but not for extended periods. 🍻

@macsgrillshack yeah I hear you. I'm not saying anything is wrong with the blackstone equivalent but every time I physically go to a store to look at one the quality just doesn't do it for me. So I have to go with weber for that very reason.
