When I got my bridal dress from Kleinfeld's the store was still in Brooklyn and you had your own private dressing room and the lady that helped me was so knowledgeable and nice and carried all the dresses in and I had a 3 way mirror to look at in my dressing room - didn't need to walk out etc. I did get my Eve of Milady dress, but redesigned the puff sleeves to off the shoulder, Cinderella ballgown sleeves with the French cuff - lace went down to the ring finger. It was magnificent - it was white, skirt was huge, silk organza, bodice was beaded with Austrian clear crystals, had fabric roses on the edge of the sleeve with lace and beading, clear, down the sleeves and the edge of the skirt was trimmed with beading. I wore a silver, marquis stoned tiara which matched my wedding ring!
I remember reading in the comments of Say Yes to the Dress, that there was not as much actual space in Kleinfeld's as they make there appear to be, on the show. After seeing how cramped and loud it was in this video, I see how right they were.
All of the dresses she tried on are way better than the say yes to the dress show's all the dresses combined. Like Where were these dresses all this time???
I reported the harassing comments because one it’s disgusting to provide unsolicited comments on one’s body in general much less while they are shopping for their wedding. This is one of the most wonderful and self celebratory times in your life and you have a RIGHT to enjoy it. It was a beautiful video with gorgeous dresses and hope you continue to have fun throughout the whole process.
So with you. Shouldn't picking a dress be a private affair and not like being on an oriental bazar? When I want to buy a bridal dress for probably thousands of Dollars, I would not like to feel like I'm in the midst of a major sale.

Mine too. The most elegant dress. And that's what a wedding dress should be. Don't like the ones that are all backless/show too much cleavage. For any other occasion but not on your wedding day.
I absolutely adore this dress on her!! Timeless and so elegant, just perfection. My favourite out of every single dress that she tried on, followed by the first Vivienne Westwood that had some structure to it, gorgeous (ps who can afford to shop at these stores?) I do own some designer outfits, always bought for me by my father who had excellent taste in stylish women’s clothes. But I never asked him to pay for my wedding dress as I knew that he would spend thousands which was not what I wanted. I lost him on the 2nd December, and now wish that that I had let him do just that for me, it would have made him incredibly happy and I would have had a stunning dress given his great eye for style 😢

I have to say, I also loved that you handled the critiques like an adult should. So many of these brides that go in there (on the show, I mean), get so offended when their family and friends say anything bad about the dresses the brides try....as though the brides were the designers.
Sophie you love playing Barbie dress-up. I personally loved the removable boat neck dress with that glorious veil. Put a shear face covering piece on it & wow. The modesty of that gown was marvelous. Whoever the designer, I praise the artistry. Save your skin for the wedding night.
I haven't watched wedding dress videos in a long time. There sure are a lot of new ideas out there. How cool to actually be in Kleinfelds. I love the mermaid dress you showed in the changing room. And the one right after that. That veil was unbelievable. And the next lol. I give up. I would be no help.

That glitter one with the over skirt is my dream dress. The first time I ever saw it on say yes to the dress I knew it was my dress and my mind has not changed
I love the one with the detachable sleeves! It seems made for you and suits your personality. It's not an overwhelming sparkle which your Mom adores, but so light and in the spots where it needs to be. I hope you find your perfect dress, which ever one you chose! :)

My favourite is the off the shoulder figure hugging with extra skirt. But the lace dresses were also all stunning. I haven’t watched the whole video yet but couldn’t wait to comment. The Mark Ingram dresses are beautiful and so much more tasteful than the ones she was initially trying in at Kleinfeld's. Of course, she looks gorgeous in any of them
Getting married in 3 weeks myself!! Wearing a Brinkley Lynette by Maggie Sottero and had it altered to fall completely off the shoulder vs straps. LITERALLY marrying my best friend. You look gorgeous in all of the dresses. You had fun with it. Blessings to you on your wedding day.
So, which dress did you get? Personally, I thought the one from Klienfeld with the off the shoulder short sleeves looked best on you. The sparkle one with the wrap came in second, but that's just my opinion.
This vid was AWESOME! I am a HUGE fan of Say Yes to the Dress. I noticed here that there was a lot of background noise and chatter, which was interesting because the show obviously cancels it out, so hearing how it REALLY is was cool!
I love the sparkly one with the sparkly veil from Kleinfeld's. That's my favorite! And the mermaid with the sparkly over skirt. Kleinfeld 's is the best!!
