蓮花ちゃんハロー😊 Congratulations getting driver 's license !👏👏👏 The house in Karuizawa is stood on good place. You can access the cafe and the shopping mall on foot ! "Bourgeois" means middle class in the States, but Japanese, especially the generation as your grandpa uses that word for richman.
Hi Frances! Nice to see your grandparents again and doing what you can to help out. Yeah, it's good to have time for yourself and get away. Hope all's well with your doctors visit...keep us in the loop please...we all care. Congrats on your drivers license too... BTW, you look wonderful!😊
Hello Frances! Did your grandpa say bourgeois? Good luck with the N2 test. You`re a very kind person helping your grandpa and grandma. so I hope that you`ll get good fortune! I'm also learning English and French online, so I'm gonna have the English test next year. Bon courage!😃
Congratulations on passing your Japanese driving test! すごい〜。I also had to convert my license, and it was challenging. I hope you enjoy your life in Nagano, surrounded by mountains 360 degrees and spending precious time with your grandparents.
To be honest, you are actually lucky that you can stay in Karuizawa over the summer time. I mean probably you may be very discouraged to go outside in Tokyo now.
My kids (hafu) also do taiken nyuugaku when we go back to Japan, but they really don't like it. One is kinda indifferent and the other would rather not. It's funny though they also aren't fans of kyuushoku. I am curious when they are older like yourself, if they will appreciate those times and also if their tastes would change to like the food more. My wife always prepares them bentos so they don't have to eat kyuushoku.
lol yea I’m not sure why I didn’t enjoy the taste of Japanese school food when I was younger, I guess I was soo used to American food. 😆 I didn’t enjoy going to school when I was younger either but looking back I’m very glad I got to experience school in Japan, I hope the same goes for your kids in the future!
I had an American drivers license so I was able to change it to Japanese! The prefecture I live in unfortunately still requires you to take a written and driving test so I believe it took 4 months total for me to get my license, but it was an easier process than starting from scratch! 🙂
