Same happened with my sister recently when she had covid she couldn't tolerate the taste of coffee and many foods which she normally enjoyed .. she is now after close to a month she is finally getting better with all that

I enjoy watching your vlogs, my sister and I are from Chicago as well and it reminds me of our little adventures downtown and encourages me to seek more! The way you girls pursue Jesus is so inspiring, sometimes it can be hard as a college student especially, but I’m learning that as long as He is my priority all else truly falls into place! ❤️

Great video...I am glad you guys are feeling better. I am praying you regain your strength. Thanks for the encouragement especially about the friend circle. My closest friend passed away in last year from breast cancer I have been going through the lonely stage...I needed your words thank you!!! I also live in Chicago!!!! I am happy and sad for fall because it usually is very short here before the snow comes 😊😊😊. Well stay safe 😊😊

Hope you feel better soon. We visited Moody Church when we were in Chicago for friends wedding. We are from the UK and it reminded me of The.Royal Albert Hall ( but a smaller version). Picnic looked fun!

Those tiny pumpkins would be super cute to decorate your room for fall ☺️ I took a few winter classes and summer classes so I could graduate on time. Just an option. 15 credit hours is a lot. I knew some people taking 18!! I think 12 is ideal and technically full time where I am. Thanks for the encouragement on a friend's group. It's been really hard to keep friends in this season of my life because everyone is grown up, married, has kids, or even just a stressful job... It's hard to find people to be friends with who are in a similar phase of life. I hope you both continue to feel better. I'm in 2 Corinthians right now and want to encourage you with chapter 10. 😘

So glad you two are feeling better and could return to campus. Been praying. In my building we're going to have a Bible study starting tonight, ran by the church (group) that used to meet here. I'm going to bring my bible (it's super giant large print so I can read it). I'm definitely going to go so I will support the group. They're serving coffee and water. But coffee would keep me up all night.

When I was in undergrad school, I had this conversation with my dad. What he told me has always stuck with me. He held up his hand and said, if you have this many true friends in your life…you are blessed. Also, I had Covid in May and still have side effects from it. I get tired fast, I have a strange headache that hits everyday and last for a couple hours. My hair started to fall out. My doctor said this could last for a year. UGH. Hang in there.

Fun fact: a LOT of those fruits and veggies out there in the outdoor market were probably delivered by the truckers I used to work for (I used to schedule their loads, and funny enough, some of those loads went to good ol' Chicago). I thought about you ladies every time I saw Chicago go up on the schedule

I can relate to not having a lot of friends or a large friend group. I am very awkward when it comes to engaging with people in a social setting and I’m usually the one sitting quietly in the corner not saying anything to anyone because I’m not good at trying to find things to say to keep a conversation going or even get a conversation started and get a friendship started. I’m also an introvert so sometimes I find social settings exhausting and my tank of energy will run low so that’s another reason why I get quiet.

You might be able to get (I think this is called) an academic extension for your homework and projects and papers. People who have mental illnesses can sometimes get an extension. I once had to get an academic withdraw because I missed too much work from depression caused by a medication (Bactrim), and I got it. The teacher had to sign something, and my counselors did too, and I got it! An academic withdraw is a withdraw you get after the last day to withdraw regularly. Something to think about.

@@coffeegirls thanks. They didn't die we just stopped being friends over wearing mask and being vaccinated. I started judging and criticizing and started calling them dumb and stupid for not wearing mask and because they choose not to get vaccinated before I criticized them and I started wishing covid on them too and I still wish covid on people too.

@@jessicanorris4256 I understand it's frustrating when people don't wear masks or get vaccinated. I really do. My closest relatives refuse... Except in public a few of them wear masks... Pray for your friends. Pray for all of God's people. There's still a lot of fear and confusion for everyone about the virus, its variants, mask wearing, etc. You wouldn't think there would be, but believe me there is. Pray always. Pray for new friends too.

@@jessicanorris4256 Woooaahh. I don't know if you are just trolling..probably, but if not... I can understand you are afraid. And fear can make us do and say irrational things. But to wish illness no matter how minor or sever that illness may be for that specific person is pretty awful. If you feel safer wearing a mask, wear one! The N95 of K95s are the one that protect the wearer. You can't expect other people to be responsible for your health. Get your shot to protect yourself if that makes the most sense medically for you and your situation. Unfortunately it looks like it can still be spread by people who have gotten it, so being angry at others is kinda pointless in that regard. Plus anger and anxiety and being in a constant state of stress actually lowers your immune response. Spread the love, not the bitterness. You will feel happier, I promise 😊

Hi friend! Thank you for being so vulnerable and open. It is so hard to balance everything! I especially understand because I am also in school now. BUT you must remember Luke 10:38-42. Mary understood the ONE THING that was most important: sitting at Jesus' feet. Being with Him. Being in communion with Him. Listening to Him and talking with Him. This is what is most important. The ONE THING that will last into Eternity. Everything else will fade away. I would encourage you to wake up a little bit earlier and make it a habit in the mornings. Get a friend to help keep you accountable and maybe you can get together with her once a week to talk about what you have been learning. I hope this helps. Jesus loves you not based on how good/perfect/long your quiet times are. You are already secure in His hands and always will be if you believe in Him as your Lord and Savior!

Hi Ashley, so sad you had to suffer corona😟😟I am sure by now you are well over it? My daughter had it and it knocks her out, she stayed in her bedroom her daughter's both tested positive and they slept with me while mom was revovering. I am fully vaccinated. one daughter had no symptoms at all though positive, the older one 10 had fevers that started low and went higher they are all back to school all well except the 10 year old has not gotten her smell back😱😱. Maybe for you a good vitamin C, vitamin D and Zinc would help with continued prayer. Did your friend Johnny get ill? well thanks, oh how is mentor mom? how is your daf?.
