To be fair, checking is against the rules in women's hockey. You're right though about twice the work, half the credit bit though. Look at how much monies which fighters made in last night's UFC. Compare Cris "Cyborg" Justino's pay as a super dominant ladies 145 lb. champ, arguably the greatest female champ MMA has ever had, compared to the male champs in the UFC. Hell, compare what she gets paid to the male 145 lb. champ. It's shameful. Don't get me started on women's football/soccer.
