Hearing that even you gained weight over quarantine makes me feel so much better. As a group fitness instructor, I really beat myself up for letting my weight slip. I know there were extreme circumstances but it is still reassuring to hear a fitness professional talk about how life happens and can affect your health, even when you know better.

Thank you for sharing, I struggle with emotional eating my whole life and I go in cycles including losing a lot of weight and becoming restrictive with diet, or gaining a large amount of weight and eating whatever brings me comfort. I appreciate you stating the difference between emotional eating and bindge eating because you are right, it is very different. I hope you are okay and feeling more balanced. Thank you for all that you do. You are an inspiration!

Thank you for sharing with us! I worked with a registered dietitian in 2022 and the biggest thing she taught me was sitting with my emotions & being present in my body. It's so hard! Glad you are talking about it.

Crying and anger is healing... I feel like most, if not all of it has to do with stored up trauma. Food is comforting and for me it began as a way to escape feeling emotions, bc I feared the consequences of feeling these emotions

What sorts of meals would you suggest for a hard gainer wanting to bulk? I'm 5ft7 and around 68kg tryibg to get to at least 75kg without killing my arteries 😅

I do! I used to push my voice higher a lotttt, which became very annoying to do, I can still do it and sometimes I do on the phone when I’m nervous but I try not to do it if I can help it now. And then last year when it sounded scratchy it was because I had a 7 month lingual tonsil infection from having long Covid. My voice still isn’t fully recovered from that but it’s definitely better than it was last year!

Work with someone, whether it’s a therapist, counsellor, coach or dietician (depending on the severity of the issue) to help you understand what emotional or physical need is driving you to not be able to stick to it. Whether it’s under eating or over eating, physical illness, hormonal response, stress, and unmet emotional needs can all cause a change in dietary habits that make your goals feel harder to stick to. Once you can address the underlying cause following a plan or target becomes much easier.

@@RachelAust i think its more steps before i go max 22000 now its often below 23000 and i crave onl more food oor a little clean sweet after eating do you think that why my calories are 100-150 more and because of more movement already a deficit.. hope you can understand my anser .my english isnt as well as it should be :D LG

She decided to get a property! That’s her own apartment. And also the mortgage is about half of her townhouse rent. :)
